Great video Ian! One of my previous jobs was based on Orange Street, just around the corner from this shop, so like you, I used to pop over on my lunch break to peruse all the offerings. Loved their old shop down by the London Dungeons too, although that was a while ago now 🥃
Great fun, Ian! When I arrived in London in June of 2022 this was one of the very first places I went. I bought that Talisker Port Ruighe and a few other treasures! I visited all three stores over the course of my visit and very much equate them as THE place to get whisky in London! Really cool to see you there and see what you recommend!
@@TheWhiskyBaronyep, had a great chat with the guys downstairs as Ian suggested, they recommended a bunch of whiskies and I had a sample of the Port Askaig cask strength and ended up with a bottle!
@@TheWhiskyBaron Have you tried the PA? Also I think the guy I was talking to at the Whisky Exchange said he'd been/was going to be on the podcast but I didn't catch his name
I’m pretty sure this was a fallacy based off one of them ‘not tasting like HP’ that an amateur online commentator loudly decried as Scapa with no facts to back it up. It was quickly debunked after it followed the Edrington cask code, same as the Secret Speyside (M) / Macallan’s.
Fabulous tour!! Thank you!!😊
thanks Christine, glad you enjoyed it! do you do much shopping with TWE?
Wow, that looks like a fantastic shop! Thanks for the look inside. If I ever make it over, that will be a guaranteed stop. Cheers!

The London Bridge store also has a lot going for it!
I was down the road from their London Bridge shop and it was a challenge not to spend all of your pocket money there every week!

They should issue an entrance ticket if it's a museum❤
and yet they welcome you in for free and pour you a dram whilst you peruse! best museum I've ever been to!
Wow. I'm speechless.
Just wondering. You walking in the shop. And how to choice what to buy 😁
The staff will help!

Worst customer service ever
Not my experience.
shame to hear you say that. I'd definitely give them another go as that's not usual
