The current Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who hacked political rival and erstwhile Jana Sangh worker, Vadikkal Ramakrishnan, to gory death in Kannur district in the late 1960s was acquitted by the court due to eyewitnesses not turning up in the court out of intimidation and scare.
