"Lord Snow" is the third episode of the first season of the HBO medieval fantasy television series Game of Thrones. It first aired on May 1, 2011. It was written by series creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, and directed by series regular Brian Kirk, his directorial debut for the series.[1]
The plot follows Jon Snow's training at The Wall; Eddard's arrival at King's Landing, followed by Catelyn, looking for Bran's would-be murderer; Arya reveals her desire to learn sword fighting to her father; Joffrey is given a lesson in ruling the Kingdom by Cersei, and Robert longs for the glory of his past. Meanwhile, Daenerys learns she is pregnant. The episode was the first to feature Old Nan, played by Margaret John, who died before the series was broadcast; the episode is dedicated to her memory in the final credit.
The title of the episode is the demeaning nickname given to Jon Snow by Ser Alliser Thorne, the sadistic trainer of Night's Watch recruits, referring to his highborn origins.
Critical reception was generally positive, with critics praising Maisie Williams for her portrayal of Arya Stark, and her sword lesson scenes, as well as the introduction of the Small Council, and further character development for the series. In the United States, the episode achieved a viewership of 2.4 million in its initial broadcast.

One of the best films i have ever seen For me the very last shot of Lee J Cobb slowly walking down the steps was very poignant
Loved the reaction!, you earned my sub!!, yes, the other films are worth watching, and there is another movie, I think it's called Hannibal rising, about his teen years and how he became the xanibal!!!!!👍👍👍😎
You (lady) remind me of Faye Dunaway in Bonnie And Clyde.
In the book she thinks to herself that being he is half hers he must have the potential to be good. The genius of the film is that it did not need to show anything but the eerie feeling of the film and the viewer's imagination was all that was needed to create the horror.
Guys, why not talk a little MORE during the film?????
they can fold those helicopters up and store them below deck.
You should watch We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson,The Patriot also with Mel Gibson, and 1917
You have to set your microphone. It's bad working
I love her accent…! “Mor’y”
Hey nice video! Can you please react to the movie Edmond (2005)? Its classic and underrated. Subscribed!
Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn in "The Philadelphia Story" and "Bringing Up Baby" are the best.
Actually, it ended the way it should. Rosemary is a child of God, children of God do not deliberately commit murder, that's something children of the devil would do. You should watch the movie "Look What Happemed tp Rosemary's Baby" - it will make you feel much better about this story because it turns out that her baby chose to take after his mother, not his father the devil.
Well for those that are seriously put off by his accent, since he couldn't speak English prior to this, let alone in a Scottish accent I'd like to see how well you can learn a language and an accent to do a movie. When that's taken into account...
Not sure if anyone else touched on it but it is a katana, just a unusual unique tsuka ( hilt )
Question; When reacting, why is it blurred Inearly gave up watching.
Highlander is so amazing, on so many levels. But so much of that is a contextual experience. Step outside those contexts, and the movie shows up as something else. There are a lot of movies that dazzle or connect with one person, while appearing flat or ludicrous to others. Don't worry if you didn't connect with it. We all speak different languages of perception. And we all have different interests in what languages we want to use and experiences we want to have or relate to. At least you now have your own experience. And you can also takeaway the value of knowing that if you ever do try to decipher it through other lenses, that you can uncover a treasure trove of contexts that conform to other types of people.
I LOVE this charming Academy Award winning movie! So beautiful, romantic, comedic, historical period drama with every clever script and great cast. Definitely in my top films of all time! Described the true nature of love and segued into Shakespeare's 12th Night perfectly where Viola must disguise herself from the King as a boy. John Webster grew up to write and create an early form of a Horror-like genre in theater. Most of the main characters are based on real people! BTW your Scottish accent is almost harder than understanding Shakespearean! LOL!
Where the sopranos videos!?!?
The kid was guilty, but the choice is not an option. We want a lesser sentence, or we will move to dismiss with predujused. If you do this. The court can't stop you. It called a runaway jury. Juries have more power than the judge, until over turn by a higher court.
We are the only nation that have that power and right.
My advice, know your audience, do the channel without your bf, he is as dumb as a bucket of hammers.
Highly recommend you see the prequel to this movie, 'Manhunter'. I enjoy it as much as I enjoy watching this film, although it is a completely different style. Also far superior than the more recent remake 'Red Dragon', IMO.
The whole men and women cannot just be friends conversation is so based.
There's something so wrong about needing to pigeonhole people into being either a villain or a good guy. The point is that people are complicated. Stop trying to label people as good or bad.
There are too many great Cary Grant movies to mention, but probably the three greatest comedies are Bringing Up Baby, His Girl Friday, and Arsenic and Old Lace. In a more serious vein, there is Notorious (also a Hitchcock movie). Plenty of others if you want more (I'm personally fond of Only Angels Have Wings).
Part of the reason for MacLeod's accent is that Lambert didn't speak English then. This is an 80s movie, a lot of things are a bit cheesy. The Highlander TV series lasted 6 seasons and made a lot of aspects of being an immortal clearer. It follows the life of Connor's clan member and student Duncan MacLeod who was about 80 years younger.
On "not proven" as a verdict, it has a fair bit of history to it. Before the Act of Union, we had 2 verdicts in Scotland, "Proven" and "Not Proven". I think thats better than guilty/not guilty, because its too easy to mis-interpret that question as "do you think he/she did it?", rather than what is actually being asked of the jurors, which is "did the prosecution prove their case" (even though in reality they mean the same thing.) When we changed to guilty/not guilty, we kept not proven, but it creates the situation where, if the case is found not proven, pretty much everyone interprets that as the Jury saying "we think he did it but...", and gives the impression that a guilty person is walking free. Its led to some pretty ugly situations over the years. (Anyone interested should look at the Wikipedia article for the "Murder of Amanda Duffy". I was only 10 when it happened, but i remember the furore over the not proven verdict vividly) And theres this from the Scottish Governments consultation on the not proven verdict: "Overall, 65% of respondents agreed a not proven verdict can cause particular trauma to victims of crime and their families, compared to 29% who did not agree. All advocacy organisations and 10 of the 17 academics agreed; 6 of 8 legal organisations disagreed"
actual reaction 5:40 into the video
On top of all the things you mentioned about this film, it is an absolute master class in acting.
Best Cinderella adaptation. The characters, relationship development, costumes, settings etc are top tier. I absolutely love it.
za dużo mówicie . stwórzcie swój kanał jak zagadać na śmierć . Scena w airplane mówi wszystko

Joey have you ever seen a man naked? hahahahahahaha it's sooo f*** ked up, but it's sooo funny 🤣 that was out of nowhere
In 1976, there was a TV movie sequel, titled LOOK WHAT'S HAPPENED TO ROSEMARY'S BABY, which picks up 8 years after the first film. We learn that Guy took off for a successful career in Hollywood, while Rosemary and Adrian stayed behind with the coven. Rosemary (played by Patty Duke) absconds with the boy prior to his 8th birthday party in an effort to prevent the coven from performing some sort of ritual on him . It's been year since the viewed the film, so most of the details are fuzzy ... somehow a hooker played by Tina Louise (Ginger from Gilligan's Island) offers them shelter, then somehow convinces Rosemary to hide out in an abandoned bus. Suddenly, the bus powers up and takes off (without a driver) and we never learn of Rosemary's fate. The film then skips ahead to show a now adult Adrian, going by the name Andrew, being a trouble maker with the local police ... and honestly, the rest of the film was so boring, I can't even recall how it ends. The film was poorly written but Patty Duke's (brief) screen time and the return of Ruth Gordon as Minnie Castevet are about the only things making this dud of celluloid worth watching at all. = = = = = = = = = = Ira Levin, the author of the ROSEMARY'S BABY novel, published a sequel novel in 1997, titled SON OF ROSEMARY, which completely ignores the event of the 1976 TV movie, and serves as a direct sequel to the original film. It is reveled that the year is now 1999 and Adrian is a world famous new age spiritual guru. The coven had placed a spell over Rosemary in 1973, putting her in a coma to prevent her from running off with Adrian. As the novel beings, she has awakened upon the death of the last member of the coven. After being reunited with Adrian, she herself becomes a celebrity of sorts, all the while, Adrian attempts to reassure her that he's rejected the coven's evil influence and wants to bring spiritual enlightenment to the world. There are a few odd interactions between Rosemary and Andy (bordering on incest) and on new year's eve, a deadly virus is unleased upon the planet and Satan emerges to drag Rosemary to Hell. She then wakes up to find herself 33 years in the past (prior to getting pregnant), laying in bed next to Guy at their apartment in the Bramford building. It's left up to the reader to decide if Rosemary simply dreamt the events of the 1967 and 1997 novels or had actually experienced a premonition of future events.
I walked into my 1st 60s smoke filled non a/c jury room with 9 WW II era men & 2 crusty broads... They threw around the same cat calls about the x-priest who was on trial just as they did with the kid from "those people", no holds barred which I doubt would be accepted in today`s jury rooms... As the one room scene plays out those who`ve never known what men of this era were like find out quickly they were very opinionated & even the wee ones didn`t feel intimidated by anyone. One man takes it upon himself to question the voracity of the evidence, where the majority would just as soon button up the belt on the electric chair...
