HBO really tried to push the sex and nudity of the show because that was one thing that differentiated HBO from many of the networks they were competing with. Often, if one character needs to convey exposition to another, they would set the scene in a brothel - even if the dialog and entire reason for the scene had nothing to do with the brothel. By season 4, the actors managed to push back. There is still sex and nudity, but it always feels warranted by the script, rather than simply to flex HBO’s willingness to show adult content.
He was at least one of the forerunners of what we know as body horror today. "The Fly" together with Carpenters "The Thing" are probably THE 2 most genre-defining movies and absolute classics. Both are remakes of a 50s movie, and you could even argue that those old black and white Frankenstein and Werwolf movies are "body horror" - but ofc not comparable to what it has become with said 80s movies.
I tried to find the Twitch channel. My guessing on the spellign must be way off and you have no link to it in the description or in your channels "About" links.
Why do some TH-camrs do that they take two minutes worth of video just to talk about stuff we don’t care about just react to the stuff you’re watching. That’s what I’m here for. I don’t want to hear your life story or what you’re doing.
You can skip the intro, most people here enjoy the extra bits! Better to have something for everyone than have people missing out when it's so easy to just skip ahead.
this is where the show starts !
This is the episode that secured a forever love of the show. I laughed so hard i kept having to go back.
The reference with Game Of Thrones is that there’s a lot of unnecessary nudity there, South Park also did an episode about that.

@@jrsinsf And i read that to the tune in my head, lol
The finding a new home thing will come up again. A lot. You always have the core group, but they may be from different dimensions.
I love when she says "Grampa Rick"
I smile when I get your notifications 😊
Keep them coming, and PLEASE watch *Arlington Road* starring *Jeff Bridges* and *Tim Robbins* 🙏🏼
I love the level of detail the put into it. That rap-song at the school dance is hilarious, and it's not more than a "throwaway gag".
Right!????
Extra love for Hope Sandoval
The ending to this episode was so sad to me, also pretty funny. 😂
Happy to see another upload!
i think cronenberg was like the first who did this kind of body horror for movies?

This episode hits so much harder post covid
Yeah, it really makes you think after everyone got the sniffles.

Aww this was recorded a while ago and I've gave up streaming for tiktok & TH-cam. It's JustKaalin on both. YT is VERY new though ^^
Game of Thrones would be a great show for the channel

Because that's just you? The rest of us like the intros and post discussions.
