bro, i have the newer versin of zbrush and the lay out is a little different and uv master is not on that list, is in another list from the top tools, is there any way to move the icon (name uv master) by itself towards the list on the right without moving the hole entire column?

Love your tutorials! I am new at Zbrush and we have to 3d model 2 characters for my class and your tutorials on Skill share has helped a bunch! You make things easier. Especially using materials. There were a few I watched that made me think my materials weren't working right and I wasn't able to get just one part of my character with a certain material.

since zbrush went subscription only, I might just use zbrushcore with 3dcoat for hard surface.

This is such a useful workflow for a beginner. Thank you!

New tutorial for zbrush 2024 sir...?

I imported a skin to maximo and the fbx did not bring any of the shaders into maximo and I don't know how to "re-attach" the original skins... I have been trying to watch but it's just confusing me. I like how easy it was to create an animation on the model but I didn't create the materials and don't know how it's made. Now it's just grey and lump lol.... any advice or specific link would be great!

thanks for the quick start. I've used maya. I've used unity. I've used many adobe products. I've used visual studio. I've used other various 3d tools. And. Without a doubt. WITHOUT. A DOUBT. Zbrush has the absolute worst UI ever designed by man, in the history of any software ever, and probably for the rest of time. When it's somehow even worse than Maya, it's BAD. I spent like 5 minutes trying to figure out how to just start a new freaking document. It's downright byzantine, nothing is alphabetized, it's just... random. And seriously, another freaking set of 3D translation/rotation hotkeys? Going between Unity and Maya was already a nightmare, now I have to remember this one 😂Anyways, happy detailing everyone.

So many tools and things that are overwhelming and make me not try at all. I am 35 years old. Too old to learn this program and find a profession in 3d modelling.

I'm only using Zbrush Mini and that alone is an amazing tool, I'm just practicing on it for now, but man the full version looks hella lot more fun xD, Great tutorial aswell bud!.

Fantastic video, thank you so much! I am learning zBrush (after owning it for a number of years and always being overwhelmed), finally bitten the bullet and am 'getting on with it'. I am a beginner at anatomy too so I have a lot to learn! This video was perfect! I want to sculpt the human form, starting with the head, and I guess even before that, a skull would be nice! Just out of interest, how long did that skull take you? I'm guessing for someone at my level it's going to take me weeks (I can't draw, and I'm not a traditional brush/crayon/pencil artist), but you've got to start somewhere :) Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and educating me!
