  • Zbrush Cloth - Zbrush Clothing Tutorial
Sculpting cloth in Zbrush from scratch! In this video I break down the patterns of fabric and how the cloth moves to make sculpting cloth easy in 3D.
In this tutorial we will sculpt the folds and details for clothing in Zbrush. Detailing cloth in Zbrush, we will create a shirt from scratch as well as the cloth wrinkles and folds using basic brushes. Cloth texture can be hard to get right, and the cloth sim and alphas in zbrush can be very complicated. If we stick to creating cloth organically by sculpting, we can focus on basic brushes and how the cloth drapes over the forms. Whether it's cotton, wool, or a different weave of material, these techniques will help you identify how the folds move in the fabric and how to use these patterns for future clothes.
How do you make cloth in Zbrush? Do you use cloth brushes? Cloth alpha? Cloth wrinkle brushes? Anything to make cloth sim easier? Let me know if you use any free cloth brushes you download and leave me a comment below!

Thanks man! 🙌 Cloth can be tough, but I’m trying to learn it the right way instead of using free assets 😂
      Thanks for watching!

Hi. Why you did not start already on the 2:15 stage to make dynamesh or divide? but in this way you do, it is too hard to be sure the shapes are ok. it is almost not working, very rough shaping. Any reason why it is necessary to make its shapes on low poly?
