ive been working on sculpts a lot lately because yeah practice makes better (wouldnt say perfect lol I've got a ways to go) my three main issues rn with zbrush specifically are understanding zremodeler for some faster hard surface, working more fluidly with polygroups and isolating pieces at a time so I can refine them better for full model comps. :P still working on getting my head around it all its a lot. your videos are super helpful though! the quick and to the point format helps it seem less daunting to learn new things!

I was just on my way to start off blocking my character. Perfect! This will work for sure if I practice sufficiently daily.

@@Gatz3D But I will have a big issue. How do you sculpt a cape?

@@Kira1634 Sculpting a cape can be very simple, or very hard, depending on the level of detail. If you mask and extract a piece off the shoulders of your character, you can use the Move Brush or mask and use the Gizmo to pull out a basic shape for your cape. Try using some of the Cloth brushes to get started. Then use the Standard Brush in ” + or - “ mode to add more ripples to the cape.
This is of course better if you can have someone show you, rather than tell you. If I have time I will try to put together a short clothing/fabric tutorial. :)
