That was very informative. I always wondered how you did that. I’m lazy and just used the preprinted grid for my full coverage. I think that’s one of the most awesome things about this hobby/craft, is that there are so many different ways to accomplish the same result, so we can all do what works best for us. 😊

Love your projects! After so many heartbreaking errors needing massive amounts of frogging, or just giving up on the project altogether and not having the heart to re-start, I grid almost everything now, lol. Romantic Tangle has a flosstube about how she grids, her method makes it go quicker than traditional gridding I think, and still gets the job done! Happy stitching!

Sharing I made a list of kits that are overpriced on reseller sites that I am looking for, a lot of times the patterns only will pop up for a lot better price, but fabric & thread would need to be added. I have been looking for Dana's Roses everywhere for 2 years! And i also saw it on Luda's channel and just drooled over it everytime she showed it. You are super lucky to have scored that! I did manage to find a bootleg copy of the pattern on Etsy quite by accident when searching for something else, and I bought it. I've been sitting on it hoping to find a legitimate copy, but I'm never going to get it, it's too rare I guess, so I'll probably go ahead with what I have.

I loved this tutorial, you gave me some giggles, your laugh is so infectious ❤ I use a frixion pen to grid only because I can't get sulk sliver except online and I'm too tight to pay the extortionate postage for just 1 spool of thread and I'm not adding unnecessary stuff to my basket to make up for free postage 😂

Fantastic tutorial! I really need to start taking the time to grid like you do, I know I would stitch faster. I’m just such a lazy stitcher, I want to START!! 😂 But I need to do more upfront planning and organizing. Really appreciate all your tips and taking the time to show how you do it! 👍❤️
