Well, let me cast my vote for more of your flosstubes! I really enjoy seeing what you're up to, and I LOVE that infectious laugh of yours. I always feel cheered up after your videos. :-) So as long as you're still having fun, keep it up! On a similar note, I'm always pleasantly surprised at the huge difference between the pattern picture, and what a piece looks like stitched up. It's why I love watching floss tubers with different taste than mine, because I discover patterns that I might otherwise walk right past. For instance, the girl on the swing you're doing is looking so neat! I'm looking forward to seeing it come to life. And that Dimensions snow man came out SO GOOD! I love it! Glad you're feeling better!

I know the feeling of "should I continue" with flosstube videos. I haven't done one in several months and I think about it, and think is it worth it? There are so many others out there, I'm not sure anyone would really miss it if my channel went away. But then sometimes I want to do it for myself as a visual log of what I was doing. Alice you are too sweet. Dilly Dallying is basically to waste time, be slow or not get around. A parent might tell their child quit dilly dallying and get going if they are late for school. I just got back from visiting my daughters inColorado Springs for two weeks. A beautiful place to be for the holidays. I went to my other daughter for Thanksgiving in north west North Dakota. I am worn out. I got home and finished my 2022 Temperature tree. I am Considering-putting the place and date.i. Don’t want to search for one. My focus piece for this year is Alice and Snow HAED I started 2019. One thing I learned is to start these big ones at the bottom. It gets. Dry heavy with the stitched part at the top. And this piece is huge! Oh I love watching you. You are normal and natural. Thanks for being you. I live in Indiana. I always watch even if I don’t comment much. Time for some hot chocolate!
Congratulations on your 20th anniversary last year - it was my 20th anniversary in 2022 as well! 🥳 Regarding your Temperature Tree, I would recommend creating a custom temperature key for the exact temperatures that you had last year. I love listening and watching you and your wips. I am a grider too. I use Sulky Sliver and sew my lines in. i think you draw yours in and i would like to know what you use and does it wash out easily? Please continue to make Flosstube Videos.
I prefer to use sulky sliver as well. I do have a few projects that I’ve used a Pilot Frixion pen but I am thinking of going back over those projects with the sulky. I seem to stitch much faster with the gridding that way. Thank you for your kind words. I’m a bit hesitant to do these because there are so many other so I appreciate you watching and commenting. It’s also nice to know there is another gridder out there. 😂 so many don’t like it, but this is a hobby. I say do what makes you happy.
Your finishes look great! I love the tiger!! You did amazing work on the fabric you dyed! ❤ I especially love the piece you are doing you temperature tree on. What method of dyeing are you using, if you don't mind my asking? I think I need to pull out the old Rit dye myself as I'm looking for a colored pieces of fabric but mine always turn out so that I never want to cover up the fabric after all. So now I've got a stack of fabric that's been dyed 😂 oh well. It's always fun to pull it out and look at 😂 I agree CJ Stitches is an amazing person and always has something encouraging to say on my videos.
