Great idea to crop the park setting artwork design! Its looking beautiful. The pink barn and Woman in field designs are breathtaking. Im looking forward to seeing your start on those. Full coverage scares me but I love watching others - like you - stitch them.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing the progress on your tulips each episode. It’s one of the reasons I love flosstube, because that style of pattern wasn’t something I would typically gravitate towards, but seeing yours come to life has really made me appreciate big floral pieces like that. I just love how all the varieties of projects everyone works on really broadens my horizons quite a bit! (Although, that means I have a LOT of WIPS. Ha!) I also totally agree with you on the AI stuff - I feel like stitching is a celebration of the work that artists produce and I want to support the original designer so that they'll be able to make more. I get so annoyed at all the copyright theft going on out there.
I really like that “honey of a tiny tiny piece” that’s really cute and those tulips look so real! I really like that birdhouse piece and if I hadn’t already done a birdhouse piece I would have been off to buy that one in a heartbeat! always good to see what you’ve been working on …. you’ve made some great progress. I’m with you…I don’t understand why people have to be nasty.

So now I know you don't like pink 😂 I am amazed by how much work you put into making all those pendants. I feel for you on them AI issue. I thought I was so careful but found I had purchased several and started one. It hurt to throw away charts I loved but I feel strongly about supporting artists first.

Hey! My first Flosstube watched as I come back to life after the first couple weeks with a newborn! Always nice to see you! 😊 I don’t think the artist CAN be acknowledged for AI art since it doesn’t just take one image, but uses hundreds to generate a new image. It’s everywhere- in marketing images and copy writing. I also won’t stitch them, but looks like we’re in a world where they’re here to stay 😐

I was worried there were some who made patterns like yourself who used AI but it seems I still have a lot to learn and need to be very cautious. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts. @@e_craftingincolorado thank you! 😊 it’s confusing since a pattern maker can use an AI generated image to create a pattern from, and there’s not a way to know who all the artists were that went into that image. As of now there’s no limit on who can use these for any purpose, which is why there’s so much controversy. But know that I won’t be using AI art in my patterns 😊
Oh my goodness! I just bought Woman in a Field of Flowers this week!! Isn’t it SO amazing??! I got my fabric yesterday and I’m starting it this weekend! Love all your projects, I’m always in awe of how much you get done while working full time and doing all you do! What’s up with all the pink?? 😂😂 You crack me up, I always laugh and giggle so much watching your videos, you bring so much joy. So glad to see you again! You had me hollering "yaaaaas, sister!" at the end. People's lack of kindness on some comments kills me! As for the AI generated stuff - keep in mind these are usually raw images that are being generated, not the charts themselves, although those are created with programs that could he considered AI, in a sense...that's mostly semantics. The issue is less that the image has been directly stolen and recreated, but that MANY artists' works are being used to "teach" the programs how to draw/paint/etc, new images, along with public domain/copyright-free images. So no one will be able to say "this was created from AI that didn't use stolen work" unless the program was SPECIFICALLY created with only those images teaching the AI (artificial intelligence) how to draw. People enter in prompts (fantasy, unicorn by the water, fall, etc), then the program creates an image using what its learned from all those images. This is not to sway you one way or another, just to clarify and build on what you said 💙.
Thanks for your insight. It’s so hard to know what the right thing is to do morally. All I know is that I will definitely be more cautious going forward. Especially sine I have a lifetime of patterns and kits already. 😝
I have watched AI video by Darling Bluebell; I thought it was excellent and I have decided to not purchase AI generated patterns at this time. I always enjoy your videos .

There is so many patterns that are AI art but have an artist name behind them and you think they are done by an artist and it isn’t till you start researching that artist and realise they use AI art engine and they don’t do the art. On good faith we are buying these patterns thinking they are art. I know I brought several patterns recently from Tilton crafts only to research further into them and realise they were AI art. I was so disappointed. I have since brought other patterns as I don’t intend to stitch them. Going forward as you can’t tell I have decided only to buy well known artists. Until legislation begins and all artworks have to show if it is AI or an artist. Until then I will buy older patterns. I don’t want to spend all my time researching patterns to see if it is AI art or not. So frustrating. I would rather stitch. I can’t wait to see what fabric you pick to stitch you mini butterfly 🦋 effect on. Hugs Tania. 🤗
Some people make me angry and sad at the same time. I looked up the comment and it was so pointless and stupid. It must’ve come from a very unhappy person who can’t stand to see someone simply enjoying their own hobby. Sad and infuriating. But it had absolutely nothing to do with you❤
I'm behind in my watching, but I was so happy to see you put up a new video. Great stitching on all your projects. Your pendants look amazing. AI is.ccrazy, my son's English teacher was telling us they have to run essays through 2 or 3 AI detector sites to check for cheating. Not the same as stealing artwork but still unbelievable. I have the HAED Anne piece as well, I've read the whole series. I haven't started it yet, I'm working on Pride and Prejudice first.
My new year new start will be Stitches Sew Beautiful Red Fox. Counting the days! Enjoy your videos so much.
