  • Welcome to my channel! I primarily stitch full coverage projects and have had several ask how I grid my fabric.
Note: this is only one example of how to grid using Sulky Sliver. There may be other methods to grid using frixion pens or pre-gridded fabric. There is no right or wrong way to gridding.
My suggestion is to do what is best for you and your projects. 👍
I hope this helps those who have requested the guidance. Happy stitching! 🪡 ~ elisa

Thanks for the tutorial. I haven’t gridded anything yet but I have been thinking about gridding more complicated designs. I already purchased some red sliver sulky thread. Now I’m ready to grid!

Loved how you grid, I use sulky too, you made it much easier by turning the fabric, I didn't think of that, so helpful.

That was very helpful! Thank you. I usually grid my projects but that was much easier looking than the way I do it.

That was very informative. I always wondered how you did that. I’m lazy and just used the preprinted grid for my full coverage. I think that’s one of the most awesome things about this hobby/craft, is that there are so many different ways to accomplish the same result, so we can all do what works best for us. 😊

Great tutorial! Would save money from buying pre gridded material for sure!

You did great! Another tutorial on gridding that I like is Gemma Stitches - 2 years ago did one also and it is under her tutorials playlist. Keep up the great work! Your projects are lovely and your channel is a delight to watch. Thanks for sharing your time and talent.

Fantastic tutorial! I really need to start taking the time to grid like you do, I know I would stitch faster. I’m just such a lazy stitcher, I want to START!! 😂 But I need to do more upfront planning and organizing. Really appreciate all your tips and taking the time to show how you do it! 👍❤️

And here I always think I want to be like everyone else who can just “start” a project on a whim. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh well, as long as we enjoy our stitching that’s all that matters. 🥰

I loved this tutorial, you gave me some giggles, your laugh is so infectious ❤
I use a frixion pen to grid only because I can't get sulk sliver except online and I'm too tight to pay the extortionate postage for just 1 spool of thread and I'm not adding unnecessary stuff to my basket to make up for free postage 😂

I wouldn’t pay for shipping costs either. Thanks for watching Danielle! Hope you and your family are well. 🦋
