I LOVE the grey, especially with the pink flower! 😂 I bought a stamped Crosstitch from NeedleArt World about a year ago, so I could stitch on it when I got tired of confetti, but I haven’t started it yet.

We lived in Aurora from 1993 until 2016. Retired and moved to Castle Rock in 2016, sold in 2018 and moved to AZ. I love it. Couldn’t take the snow anymore. But loved CO during no snow seasons. I used to work in Lakewood. And love The Stitching Shop. Just ordered stuff from them. Just like the winters in CO, ya just do a lot of indoor stuff in the summers. But I really like the heat. I’m from here originally.

That Dye-Namic book looks very intriguing. Have you considered alcohol inks? I haven't used them on cross-stitch fabric, but I took a class on them a few years ago--they give a cool watercolor effect. I did see one flosstube about it awhile back. The other idea is that you can get dye fixative from Rit. Don't know if/how that works either, but just got a full unopened bottle at a garage sale this weekend so it's top of mind and it might help set the dye. Thanks, E! -- Deb

I normally use sulky silver thread but recently tried the pilot frixion pens.
