lol It’s L3’s problem to fix.
Indeed XD They'll get to it in 6-13 months... Or they'll just disconnect the service without telling anyone
T1s are depreciated. 2022.1 is the last release that will allow it and all current core designs are ethernet.
Eahhhhhhhh, there's a conflict between what's officially supported and what you can do..... S6000s and S2500s(as site routers) are officially EOL... And not supported.. but I'll be using them long into whenever I go to the Astro Next platform.. they're just way too convenient when creating site links with ciscos... No routing BS, just point the STUN at the other routers IP and plug in a cable...
@ I work pretty closely with IPNPO and it’s going to be gone sooner rather than later. I have a few ACX1100s you can have for your lab.
What system release are you running?
I was running 7.17 Now running 2021.1_Redfish
@ Nice. Are you a Motorolan? I’m assuming so because you’d need access to the transport network tool that shall not be named to set this up. It not, I won’t tell.
Si... Frankly I regret not just doing 2021 from the start.... Downloading 7.17 off VTrak took years...
@ Yeah, vtrack is long in the tooth for sure. I have come to enjoy its simplicity over the new method though. You going to Vegas this year?
Yea Jira is a bit of a pain... But is wayyyy faster.. so I'll allow it.. Yep I'll be there for the last hurrah in February
Hey, planning this as my next dvr setup, would you be so kind and share some details or software? ;)
Sorry I can't share the software. Panasonic support however is very helpful and can assist with obtaining it/can send it
@@anongator Thank you very much for the info :)
Hey there with tetra radios do you need a base station or can you use just two hand sets like DMR ?
You can use them without a base
wow you are the worst speaker ever your voice is annoying
Does anyone know how to turn the intermittent beeping off?
What beeping?
*ONLY WATCH THIS VID IF YOU HAVE A L10. DO NOT USE LTE RM ON A L11!!*
It sounds like a car having a dyno test.
Does the Callpilot say "CallPilot, From Nortel Networks" when you dial voicemail?
Neg. Mine was upgraded to Avaya
@@anongator Does it say "Avaya Callpilot?" can i hear the prompt plz?
Yes it did. Sadly no as I run Avaya Aura now. Friend has all my Nortel stuff now
Kaboom!
what firmware you run? have any fun accessories or firmware files? I have a few of them along with the cd
You have the actual fw files?! Any chance you could drop them at hello@rosesam.pw ? I've got the headset, headset box, USB cable, and the full band antenna
So... is the kfdshield dead? The domain is still registered but get "site cannot be reached" when attempting to access it....
Hmm strange. Her website works for me. However the KFDshield is now EOL and replaced by the KFDPico. I'll try and find a link. She partnered with someone else to manufacture and sell them
Scratch. I'm insane... Its the KFDMicro store.w3axl.com/collections/all This is the new place to get them
Can we convert XTL 5000 to XTL 2500 ?
Yes. The O5 can turn into a M5 by just doing the opposite direction of pad
Cool now can you make it crash out in the middle of 911 calls like a real Power911 console would lol
Oh don't worry. That features there. 80% chance of it crashing or dropping the call
we have the same keyboard wtf
Its a good keyboard XD
Completely stumbled on this by accident and I'm absolutely intrigued by it, is this just for fun of it or will you use this for some videogame/simulation?
Just for the fun of it lmao Looked at my setup... Realized Ive got 90% of a real 911 setup... And decided to make the last 10% XD
Tho CTRS does have a FiveM server...... So could use it for that lmao
@@anongator Oh lol, well it's fun to see so will definitely follow this 👍
Why is this in my recommendation
You must like 911 equipment... :3
@anongator no
@Pleyer7575lol Welp... Can't help you there then
Looks like you copied VIPER's GUI.
"Artistic Liberty" But yea Intrado Viper was the basis for it. However theirs looks wayyyy better lmao
will this be able to use for a video game?
Yep, could even work as just a normal desk phone
I’m into this
Do the MLC8000s require an Astro core to function?
Nope, the MLC is standalone. Stuff like the MGC, DCG, GGM, and S2500 all require a core be that M, L, or K core
I hear some GTRs in the background....
Just a few XD (32)
999 is a British version of 911 emergency calls
Indeed! Tho 000 its a lot better tbh... esp with rotary equipment..
Euro cellular emergency calls are still 112. In Greece 100 gets you to the police department in your area. There are other three digit codes for fire and ambulance.
love this... need a unistim version for nortel systems!!
Lmao. Unistim is...... A pita
@ very true
I’d assume this would be pretty easy to integrate with the nortels should you wish
@bcm50 kinda sorta. The BCM can (unofficially) host sip stations. But the CS1000 and Meridian 1 both use Unistim instead of Sip
@ on release 6 only on bcm sadly
The handset is pretty rare, this has got to be the only time I’ve ever heard it ring..
I've seen them come and go. The newer E model is a load more common
You should market this. I see a real use for this at my hospitals call center.
This... This is why I want to lock ALI functionality lmao While it totally could work for something like a non critical call center... Its also shitty code made by someone who doesn't code for a living XD That being said... Its all on GitHub publicly
Great video who is your service provider for the avaya phone ? I've been told the avaya phones are not sip capable..
Me! I run my own Avaya Aura server/network. And that depends on the phone. My 9641GS and J179 both support sip. However I'm running the 9641 in H323 mode. However most/all the 9600 and J100 series support SIP as long as you have the firmware loaded. The 4600 series are H323 only. I can do a quick video about it sometime tonight.. lots have changed from the "final rack video" I did
@@anongator When I got started in business phone I made a decision early on to never touch Cisco or Avaya due to how locked down they are. Polycom's can be a pain, but are at least fully compatible with any system you throw at it (also dirt cheap on eBay!), and the Grandstream handsets are pretty great.
@@anongatorAura is really difficult with licensing. I’m going to assume you got around the licensing just like you did with your Nortel systems. Would love to learn how, as I love toying and labbing with these systems as well :)
Welllll the Nortel systems use physical ibuttons so all the CPPM cards I purchased came with them... Tho the last one I got had a NT_TCH lab license ibutton
Yea Avaya is pretty locked down.... But God now that its working I quite like it XD
chief, may i ask what your video is doing on my reccomended
😳 you into 911 gear I guess XD
@@anongator im not
Good for you?
@@anongator i'm just into tech xD
@@Kogenta95 Hmmm... One could say that 911 PSAP equipment counds :3
Good start so far! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!!!
Where did you get your apx
I'll make a vid on how to buy one tomorrow, Standby!
How did you get the fd page sound
In this case. Another radio that's allowed to encode. In other case I have a full console
@@anongator when you say encode what do you mean?
Make the tones
This video is super helpful thank you. Another means I use to figure out the lan IP and date on a system where I don’t have access is to connect to the first network port, directly with a laptop, and run a wireshark capture - you can get the IP from the ARP requests the BCM makes. If you hit the web UI of the BCM using a browser and open the inspector/dev mode, in the request headers sent from the BCM it will have the date from the BCMs perspective. I have used this method several times on a few machines that I am using in my lab/House.
I’m looking at buying one for my Charger pursuit after this hurricane is out of Tampa. Is there any special software needed for the CF-31 to work with this system?
Yes. The front end SW. Contact Panasonic
@@anongator I was able to get the front end SW from the seller, plus a new power cord, now I need the cartridge for the SSD and then try to get this working over the holidays. Great video.
yyy
yyyyy
Hey there, I was thinking that if this device can be connected to a APX2000 or APX4000. Did you ever try that before?😂
It can
We use p25 at work exclusively now and to me it sounds “muddy and bassey” not crisp at all. I prefer our old analog system audio but I’m the odd man out, I’m sure lol.
I've thrown so many of these in the dump along with thousands of cards, its such a waste :(
Same thing happens when you do this with DTR radios. Probably sounds better with P25.
🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
Utah Transportation authority still uses IDEN for Trains, Busses, and basically all their services
Yea found that out when I went down there. I was quite surprised... But then again they still use type 2 and centracom gold elite down there....
@@anongator yep all analog Also, we are moving to a P25 Phase II system on 700MHz I’m up in salt lake, I wish I had an Nextel radio but I’m sure if I can convince Uta one day to switch to DMR or P25 they might be open to letting me look around the R765’s they use
I just want the harmony switch they have to run it XD but more 765s wouldn't be bad lol
@@anongator yeah you only find the 765Is phones now My dad used to work for UTA and he got a radio and I would listen to it all the time Busses and trains, mostly because he did train driving in 2022
@kk7gkg eh the IS is good. Sadly they only do .7w vs the full 1w of the non IS
Any chance you could help me programme srg3900?
I can attempt
@@anongator should i pm you on discord?
@bartekgrzelak7963 yes
Love my PRC-113!
Good luck finding the full setup for it. Requires a Win7 PC (last version we released) and the activation licensing required to get the unit operational. From a rudimentary setup, if you can get the software profile installed and programmed with the activation license, any analog FXS based line can trigger usage.
Yea that's about what I found out. I'm working on getting rid of the whole se
I have one too. I would like to get better with it. Could I pick your brain?
Go for it
@@anongator Quick reply. Thanks! I sent you an email.
Opensky is a 4 slot digital system, we removed the last of the Opensky in Reno about 5 years ago.
Glad to hear y'all are on real radios lol Soooo Opensky 1 was 4 slot, however to increase voice quality Opensky2 bumped it down to 2 slot. SOI is kinda strange as it technically is 4 slot, but only uses 3, two for voice, one for control msgs
It's a phone ?
Nope. Radio
you're back!
cut the fake voice. we all can tell what you really are. why did you choose the path that leads to hell?
Glad to see you back!
Glad to be back!
