You won't be able to get one for yourself. It requires a ton of back end equipment and a way to get licenses for moto. I work for Motorola so that last part isn't an issue for me lmao
@@anongator so tbh I don't really know what I am looking at, I don't do a lot of radio but I do work with some EMS dispatchers in my area. I do mostly internet networking. So my question for you is I saw in your rack tour video that you had a bunch of motoral products that look like routers I think you said it was an S2500 so what do those do are they just routers like any other router or are they special for radio? another question is what do you mean by console like console as in RS232 or serial? sorry for all the questions just really interested
By console in this case I mean dispatch console. Those Motorola routers are mostly just normal IP routers, but they are able to understand some special sauce protocols needed for the Radio core to work, and some of them also have Analog to digital converter ports on them
@nostalgia5269 the network stuff requires software licenses. For the actual RF 100% yes, most is on Part 90 business band, the other part is 97 Ham band
how did you get yourself the MCC7500 Elite Dispatch Console? Looking into how to get that for myself

@@anongator thats cool, do you need a radio lisence to run all that or no?

I see a W7 head.
*Takes*
No. That's my W7, you can't have it.
I’ll give you a W9 in return.
@MatthiasTHM can't fit a W9 on a dash mount
🤫🤫 We’ll make it work.
