    All these videos and rack setups make me want to use an Xserve G4 or similar for a home server setup in spite of the age.

    Thanx for the video. Haven't seen a Nortel PBX working for about 20 years . Started on NEC systems in 2000. Last time i saw Callpilot they were running Windows NT4.

    Did you end up figuring out that adding hard drives to an existing array thing ?
    Also I thought the point of the bezels was to prevent someone walking arround from popping hard drives out of the server and taking them home

    • @anongator
      @anongator  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. I'm still stuck. I filmed this today XD
      Probably the case. I don't see why someone would do that because raid ..

      @@anongator If someone's determined to steal data, they could pop the hard drives and rebuild the array. Most servers are capable of scanning drives and reconstructing raid arrays.

    Hey. Tried emailing you but was blocked. I’m having an issue with RM LTE software and would be great to pick your brain for a min of your time. Thanks Chris. Also have a business account. Great videos by the way.

    why is this the "final" you have no plans of grabbing more hardware in the future? or?

    • @anongator
      @anongator  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely getting more but this is more or less what everything is going to look like for the next little bit. I have no more room and I'm about at the power limit for the circuit. So those problems first... Then I can get more stuff
