Yea idk what state that is but that’s straight robbery here in jersey. For an oil change with an air filter at a dealership let alone at someone’s shop is like $120-160 depending on the brand of your car. All that is robbery bro, put that shop on blast

my god, the door handle is NOT removable? That makes no sense at all. I'm sure the dealer does not sell the door handle a la carte. But fortunately there are aftermarket options for cheap. I'm not made at China any longer, as long as they keep making cheap copy cat parts which I need.

He's a Nissan specialist? Damn. There would be no limit to the people who need diagnosis for random, frequent and expensive repairs. He's been able to fix problems rather easily, but I know that Nissan is very unreliable and shunned by car buyers. During covid, when all dealerships of every brand had empty sales lots, not Nissan. They are the only brand which never ran out of inventory during Covid lockdown and factory shutdowns.

It wont start without brakes. Push to start require the brakes to be pressed so if the brakes are disconnected from the computer, it wont start.... because no brakes can be detected. She was in no real danger. But sabotage isnt right regardless. Gentlemen, no woman is worth jail time, thats just more time wasted on a dead end.😅

Not only were they trying to scam you, the price for that oil change and filter change were both terrible prices. At MOST, you should only be paying $60 for a full oil change, and some places check your filters for free while doing an oil change! Most will only charge the price of the filter since its so easy, and will even check your cabin air filter (or whatever its called) for free too

Clickbait. I was an ADAS technician. That isnt a "radar camera" and they are never replaced with a windshield replacement, they are recalibrated. Radar is typically in the bumpers and some cars mirrors. The camera behind the windshield is Lidar and is for lane mitigation. Has nothing to do with the vehicle starting. You can unplug them and the vehicle will start/drive/brake etc like it was never unplugged. It just throws a code for now needing a recalibration.

I work at a dealership I know for a fact that in my dealership when I have quoted out a warning harness, we would’ve made the repair, but I will tell you one thing that yellow wire that you said that you were only gonna tape up that would not have been enough like that that would have been repaired too. You’re not just gonna put tape over a wire that’s been chewed and bitten on and cover it up Without doing anything to the exposed wire

I have the same issue with my Mazda CX-9 head unit. I have to use the steering wheel controls. Dealership wants $1100 just for the radio. I'll try this.
