Taste of Jordan: Must-Eat Dishes
Jordanian cuisine blends Levantine and Turkish influences with fresh ingredients, spices, and unique cooking methods like underground ovens.
A prime example of Jordanian culinary heritage is Zarb, the iconic Bedouin barbecue dish. This unique method involves marinating meat and vegetables, then burying them in a pit oven dug in the sand. The slow cooking process allows the food to simmer in its own juices, resulting in incredibly tender and flavorful meat alongside perfectly cooked vegetables.
Beyond Zarb, Jordanian meals often begin with a delightful spread of mezze. This selection of small plates, similar to tapas, is perfect for sharing and sampling a variety of flavors. Hummus, baba ghanoush, moutabel, and pickled vegetables are all common mezze options.
Following the mezze, the main course typically features grilled meats, most commonly lamb and chicken kebabs.

เคยดูหนังสืบสวนฆาตกรรม ในเรือที่ร่องแม่น้ำไนล์ นางเอกสวยมาก จบแบบหักมุมคาดไม่ถึงสุดๆ เดี๋ยวต้องหาดูอีก ไปหาแล้วไม่มีมันนานกว่า 40 ปี

ที่ตุตันคามุน หรือคิงทัท ที่ดังเพราะเป็นหลุมฟาโรห์เพียงแห่งเดียวที่ขุดแล้วเจอสมบัติอยู่ครบสมบูรณ์ โดยเฉพาะมีหน้ากากทองคำ ในขณะที่หลุมฟาโรห์อื่นจะถูกขโมยทั้งหมด จะเจอมัมมี่หรือสมบัติกระจัดกระจายจากการถูกขโมย แม้แต่ในปิรามิดก็ไม่มีมัมมี่อยู่ตอนที่เข้าไปสำรวจ ในประวัติศาสตร์คิงทัทแทบจะไม่กล่าวถึงเลยเพราะครองราชย์เพียงเก้าปีหลุมศพเลยสั้นที่สุดในบรรดาที่ค้นพบ (ที่จริงการเตรียมหลุมศพจะทำตอนเริ่มครองราชย์) มีให้เลือกแค่สิบหลุมเพราะปิด(อ้างน้ำท่วมแต่จริงเรื่องควบคุมคน) ผมเลือกรามเสสสาม ห้าและเก้า เพราะดูคู่มือก่อนเพราะเป็นหลุมที่ยาวและลึก จริงๆอยากเข้ารามเสสที่สองเพราะเป็นคอมเพล็กซ์ใหญ่มากแต่ปิดไม่ให้เข้าไป การซื้อตั๋วในส่วนของกรุงทีบส์คือส่วนของเมืองหลวงที่ข้ามแม่น้ำไนล์จากเมืองลักซอร์ ส่วนการซื้อตั๋วก็คือใกล้รูปปั้นยักษ์ของฟาโรห์อาเมนโฮเทฟที่สาม(ตอนไปพักรร ฮิลตันจะเห็นส่วนของกรุงทีบส์จากโรงแรมเลยเพราะจะเปิดไฟแม้ยามค่ำ) ตั๋วจะเลือกได้สามสถานที่แต่ส่วนใหญ่คนจะเลือก 1สุสานฟาโรห์(จะเลือกเข้าได้สามฟาโรห์ถ้าจะเข้าเพิ่มก็เสียเงินเพิ่ม) 2วิหารฮัทชับสุส และ3 วิหารรามมิเซียม หรือวิหารฮาบุ แล้วแต่จะเลือก ซื้อตั๋วแล้วจะรวมไกด์ในตั๋วด้วย ไกด์จะเป็นคนพาเราไป
