    Agree! When I was first taught hypothermic care for new kids, its ALWAYS honey in the mouth first and a warm bath until they hit 100 and it stays there. If you take them out and their temp starts dropping again, keep them in the bath until they are fighting to get out. Towle and hair dryer (or heat gun set to low) and then a heating pad blanket bed. Only after that do I start dripping warm colostrum into their mouth with a clean syringe. Just a mouthful at a time, until I've gotten at least half a cup into them. (I always keep colostrum stashes in the freezer, pre measured out for emergencies.) Usually after a 30ml syringe they are pretty strong and willing to nurse under their mother again. Then they are In the clear in a nice warm barn, sometimes burritoed up under a heatlamp for a snooze. About two hours after that warm snooze (and milk) they are on their feet and driving their nanny crazy.

    But remember that Baking Soda is not Sodium Bixarbone. It is composed of starch, acid and sodium bicarbonate. Soda ash is the name for NaHCO3

  • @kuwaitloving
    @kuwaitloving หลายเดือนก่อน

    We actually have 2 cases: a case when the stomach is full of gas only and here we can use Sodium Bicarbonate, but in the case of you can hear water sound when you shake the animal belly and here you cannot use the sodium bicarbonate because it will react with the liquids and rapidly produce air in the stomach and death will occur. In short, watery bloat is fatal and needs special medications not among them NaHCO3.

    I can't disagree more with your stance on euthanasia. I had chickens with this symptoms and 40-50 % of them made a full recovery. My stance is to isolate and give special care and extra vitamins (at least, if not some antibiotics) in the water until it recovers or dies naturally.

    What's the difference between this and just feeding them yogurt? I feel like the process is exactly the same except you are fermenting longer so that the curds and the whey separate. Can I feed my baby goats a goats' milk yogurt that I make at home?

    Hi I don’t understand. Are you mixing milk with unsweetened yogurt? Or leaving milk out for 24 hours in warm area and then giving that to lamb? My baby has been rejecting the bottle for 2 days and she’s quite lethargic. She wasn’t feeding from mom and at 3 days I started bottle feeding. She’s only 4 weeks now. I would hate if anything happened to her. Just wanna make sure I give her the right thing.

    We have had very hot summer days, 100+. We got an old bottom from a plastic 3'×3' rabbit cage about 3 inches deep. We fill it on hot days with cool, clean water. The chicken ladies literally flock to it to soak thier feet and wet their beaks and feathers. It cost nothing but is a real life saver. Haven't lost 1 to heat in 3 years.

    GOD is warning people of what they can't see and some listen but others don't. SO let this be your warning, Choose JESUS, repent and believe God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son to die for your sins so that you may be saved from eternal damnation and whoever believes in him will not die but have everlasting life. Nobody buys stock in a company that is sure to go bankrupt. Nobody sets up house in a sinking ship. No reasonable person would lay up treasure where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal, would they? The world is passing away! To set your heart on the things of this world is only asking for heartache and misery in the end. That’s not all: Not only is the world passing away, but also the lusts of it. If you share the desires of the world, you will pass away. You will not only lose your treasure. You will lose your life. If you love the world, it will pass away and take you with it. Turn to Jesus now and repent of your sins, for there is life found in him and He'll never pass away

    I couldn't agree more about the diet. My chickens are generally free-range if the weather permits. Otherwise, coop bound. I have a young pullet that hatched in the cold months, so I suspected her legs were cold at first. I brought her into the house to stay warm. She seemed better but was not standing properly, so I started feeding her vitamin fortified feed and she perked right up in a few days and returned to the coop.

    Thank you so much. I just spent an hour looking at tutorials for humane chicken euthenasia and this is the one. Thank you so much. My husband and i live in the country and are considering chickens, but i want to be absolutely sure we are ready for all stages of their life first. It occurs to me that regularly going through these motions with your chicken throughout their life would be good, to make it so they are used to them, and not afraid when the time comes. Regularly wrapping in towels and given affection, regularly covering the face when holding. Regularly laying them out on a surface in this manner with lots of gentle affection. Even calmly regularly placing their heads in between the nails like you show. Being sure that not only they are familiar and unafraid of the process, but you are also very comfortable with it. I know it seems morbid to do that. But id rather them, and us, be as calm and comfortable as possible. Seems the benefit outweighs any morbid feelings.

The scientists and doctors conclude that it’s fake and not worth pursuing, whereas general public claims it is life changing. I’ve seen so many testimonies of people using it both on their pets/livestock and themselves to get rid of worms, yet scientists have conducted studies showing it doesn’t. What is going on
