How to MOVE & CATCH SHEEP easily | Sez the Vet

How do we catch a rogue sheep that needs veterinary attention, when there are no yards or setup available??
We've all been there- chasing a handful of sheep around the paddock as they make fools of you! It seems hopeless. But with the right understanding of their behaviour, and a simple rope, you can do it!

This must be the most frustrating part of visiting customers. I see it all the time too: people who bought a thousand dollar sheepdog, but can't figure out how to make a pen out of pallets and have obviously never handled their animals.

I know for many large animal vets it is yes. I personally come from a small block, born and raised, and enjoy bringing all the little tricks to teach people and make life easier. It's actually one of the parts of the job I end up enjoying!

Hi. I'm retired now. More time' !! Kiko goats. The bucks are in with does. I'd like to separate bucks. Let does develop more. Control breeding. One barn, however. And they like their barn ! Can you show how others separate their bucks.

Hello doc, rn our chicken is suffering and I don't know what to do and I can't take it to the vet cause my mum doesn't want to spend money😢 our chicken is gasping for air but he's not making any hissing sound. He also have runny eyes and the other eye seems like it's blind like blueish cloudy😢 he has like saliva on his mouth and he's pooping a lot.. I don't want him to die but I don't know what to do also pls help😢

I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope you managed to find help or put him out of his suffering. respiratory disease can be severe and nasty, and when due to an infection is not easily treated at home. Unfortunately I can't help for individuals from afar.

Good luck with that, with our sheep!!! They are as sharp as a shxthouse rat, and know a trap when they see one!!!! Lol.
