  • Broody behaviour is a very normal behaviour, but can also predispose your hen to certain illness. Make sure you know how to tell if she is broody, rather than sick, and how to help her along the way to keep her happy and healthy.
Check out the video as Dr Sez walks your through a thorough physical exam of a broody hen, demonstrates the difference between broody behaviour and sick behaviour, and explains what do you EVERY day to help her along.

Isn't she? Such a good girl for the camera. I've just had a broody hen who I allowed to sit and she went from absolutely fine to lice ridden after just a few days, about 2 weeks in. So important to do those very regular checks :)
