All of our recommended places are shown in the vlog. As for shisha there are several bars that do but we haven't used them so we can't vouch for how good or expensive they are. It's best to ask around the bars when you are there on an evening as that's the most prominent time for them to come out. Have a great trip!

@rkss2014 it depends on what the prices are like this year and how much you would usually eat/drink and where. It's personal preference so it's generally something we don't advise on. Turkey goes up in price year on year. This was filmed in June 2022 so expect some increases for sure. Unfortunately we can't confirm as we'd have liked to do this month as our subscribers have voted us to go to Kos instead of Turkey on our social pages. Hope you have a great trip!

@@rkss2014 no worries. We always try to respond to everyone. We filmed Santorini last year as it was the final stop of our 6 month trip called Destination Unknown. Lovely island and we managed to do it on a budget. We've been to Kos a few years ago but didn't film it as we hadn't started the channel then. Greece has a special place in our hearts. We've also got a Marmaris shopping vlog and a Dalyan day trip vlog on the channel if it's of any interest. Be sure to have an Efes for us and enjoy what Marmaris has to offer!

Hey Vanessa. You are most welcome and we are glad it's helped. In all honesty we've never really recovered and it's been just over a year now. Don't get us wrong we've still done trips but nothing like that 6 month one. Genuinely the hardest scene we have ever had to film as we knew we didn't do enough and had to come home. After the camera went off we were both in floods of tears for a good 30 minutes. Things will never be the same so it's sticking to the full time jobs until they can be similar. That's all the local rubbish that's taken to an area at the other side of the island near the prison and then gets burnt. We only noticed it on that particular day.

Definitely worth visiting. We loved Bentota even though there wasn't much to do. Say hi from us if you visit!

I certainly will. We are doing a lot of travelling around Kandy, Ella and Yala so we left plenty of time for relaxing at Bentota. Just a final chill out before we head home.

Hey Mahendra. We've done 2 visits to SL now and in fairness we've met more good people than bad. We had to show it purely for awareness as the locals know this man very well and this behaviour isn't uncommon for him. Unfortunately there's always one bad egg but the same can be said for the UK. It is in comparison to UK prices too. My Kurdish barber charges £13. I have an arrival hair cut and a departure hair cut when I'm in Turkey 😄

It varies greatly. We booked this a couple of months before we went. Sometimes the closer to the departure date the better but we always keep an eye on what the prices are doing. Thanks very much for watching ☺️

Hi Liam. The ships currency is GBP and the majority of islands work in Eastern Caribbean dollars (EC) but take USD. Guadeloupe is the Euro but some places will accept USD. We only carried USD and had no issues. Hope it helps!

Hey Louise. We did 4 nights as we dropped on some good flight times and prices from Kochi and then from Malé to Mumbai to continue our journey. With the local ferry you just turn up and join the queue then pay onboard. There's plenty of seating so even though it looks like a lot of people in line there is plenty of room. Hey Ranjit. Thanks very much for your support. We usually take pounds but if we plan on nipping over to Rhodes on the ferry you'll need euros. Both are accepted in Turkey although the only cash we carry is lira incase we go into any small bars. Occasionally we have GBP for shopping with so we know what we are spending. The rest of the time it's our Revolut or starling travel card. Hope you have a great time!
