- Our UK staycation at Primrose Valley caravan site in Filey in North Yorkshire owned by Haven Holidays - part of the Bourne Leisure Group and spans part of the site of the old Butlins Filey.
On this vlog we show you what is on the site of Primrose Valley and what our caravan is like. We booked a saver caravan which was the cheapest available and when we found our van we had a free upgrade to silver!
Places to visit on the Yorkshire Coast?
We've got you covered! We visit Whitby, Scarborough, Flamborough Head, Bridlington and Filey which are all within a 1 hour drive of the site and also include a hidden gem - Victoria Sailors Club in Bridlington which offers a very special price for a pint during its lengthy happy hour!

the mash and barrel at primrose valley is gone now, and been replaced by Wetherspoons
@@LemoncloudGT We had to pay a visit last month to try it out. Food seems pricey but it's much better than the mash and barrel. Even better if you catch Monday club for the cheaper drinks.

Great video !! I own a lodge at reighton sands the great thing with owning a caravan at any haven site is that all activities are free 😀 i go to PV alot for the activities and the restaurants as you also get 15% off all food and drinks what is a bonus

Wowzers looks like a gold caravan
We dropped on lucky that time but we didn't the month later or on the trip this year to check out the new spoons. It seems very hit and miss if you get an upgrade or not.

Really good vlog,brings back so many memories,primrose valley wow has changed so much for the better and does look like more to do and more fun times, so really you don't have to spend too much to have a Good time, the views the homely caravans especially look beautiful and so cosy, i would definitely recommend even if its raining or not you have all the other places to visit with much to do x Thankyou so much both of you and looked like you had a good time ❤ And very affordable xxx

Hey Ryan. We like it there as we can jump on the bus and get some cheap ale in Brid or walk into Filey. Just heard Wetherspoons is opening from March to replace the Mash & Barrel so we're buzzing for that! We stayed in a standard just before the end of season and it wasn't anything to write home about. Infact we've said we wouldn't book a standard one again so you're making the right choice in our eyes. Hope you have a fantastic time!

Wow , I was head chef here for 3 years ! , your Static was 3 minutes from my family home , needless to say i know every part of it , the main entrance that you came through is what we call the new entrance , opposite that is a field and a farm house if you ever go again have a walk down knock on the door and ask to look at the old railway platform , you didn't show the beach walk at PV that would have gone past my house , great upload guys loving your channel !
Hey Jay. No doubt we'll be visiting a couple of times this year so we'll try check it out as we're a bit fond of stuff like that. Glad you enjoyed it...it's certainly a bit different for us filming in the UK but we thought why not.
Do you think it's worth upgrading to silver if you can afford it or just stick with the saver?
Having seen a Saver and where they can be on the park, if it's financially viable we'd say silver is a better choice.

Very disabled friendly Karen with lots of ramps. They even have caravans equipped for wheelchair users too.

We love Whitby and Scarborough and try to go a couple of times a year to both. Its great up North! Wifes parents had a caravan near Scarborough a few years ago and we were there most weekend. Gotta go to Brid especially for the cheap lager.😁
Hey Jeff! You can cram a lot in with most of the places relatively close together but having a van to use that's free is the best benefit. We just made a last minute trip to PV again last weekend as the price was good and a couple of friends had stalls at Filey Food Festival. A good weekend all round. Thanks for watching buddy!

We do our own thing when we are there Elacie so we are rarely seen around the site but it's a nice little escape now and then for beach walks and catching up on any editing (if we have some to do) 🙂
