Track 8 intro reminds of Peter Tosh - Coming in Hot. th-cam.com/video/lXblNuvs3DE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zzrduJ7D8mu7YeXW
Yes I! Looks like there are a couple Tosh songs with similar vibe.
You are not wear on Red Gold and Green but you are a true rasta. The intro of ''fade away'' is like ''African'' of Peter tosh. It's a good discover for me cause I never heard about this artist. Maybe i'll buy the vinyl or the CD as I buy the cd '' Strenght - Samory I'' after listen IRRR reviews, Bless

Hail from (St.Croix) Great Review , Great (Album) "RASPECT"!!!
Greeting Brother, I'm glad you did a review of this significant project, this Brother Clatta really don't know how powerful this project is. I started out with Bob Marley in the summer of 1983 with the Confrontation album, and it changed my life, "Roots Reggae" is the "World's Power", Not nuclear weapons or drunken system power controllers who present racism as a strategy to confuse and deceive the people. Moving forward in my roots reggae journey I appreciated the artist like Dennis Brown, Israel Vibration, and all other similar artist, but something was missing, so while attending one of the last Bob Marley Day celebrations at the Long Beach Arena in California I was surveying the music vendors and came across this brother who was selling reggae. I asked him about some roots that was different than the current music that was in rotation, then he handed me Midnite, "Ras Mek Peace" and said that this band is the best roots reggae around, so I purchased it, then I listen to and did not really like it. So a few years later, my Rasta buddies turned me on to them again with "Rasta To The Bone", and then it was on from there, anytime Midnite toured the Los Angeles area, we were there vibing. One time while in the restroom at one of Midnite's concert, this Brother said, " There is Bob Marley and then there's Midnite"! I had to totally agree with that assessment. Now I say there's Clatta Bumboo! The true essence of "Roots Reggae" seems to be back!
@@communityeducationnetwork5096 I thought I responded to this awesome comment but just realized there's no response. Truly apologize. Really loved reading this.

Who will go us - jah here am I send me. listened to this hundreds of times
Hand's down, a great tune with a powerful message.
Nice review! Honestly this album is much better than I was expecting, as some of these posthumous albums aren’t very high quality imo. This one has excellent musicianship and lyrical content. By far my favorite song is Reforms Unseen, but also Who is the rejector who is the Reductor, and really the whole thing is all killer no filler. Bless Up!
The thing about posthumous albums is that producers and studios can get a collection of unreleased tracks that were unreleased because they were probably deemed not good enough for release. This album was intentionally recorded as an album.
Akae Beka is just different.
Akae Beka is the way
Yes indeed!
This has to be the move of the spirit to be dedicated to such work I am here for the msg n meaning n blessings

Man, happy to come across your Chanel I have been a Midnite 25 years deep, the most profound Reggae group I have ever known in my life, the beauty about Vaughn Benjamin lyrics, once you understand what he is anchored in , where he comes from Spiritually, then you can interpret the Lyrics as they apply to your pastoral Philosophy. No one even comes close to their depth of music in Roots Music
I agree with you 100%! No other reggae artist or band has covered the breadth and depth of topics Vaughn Benjamin chanted about.
One of a kind .
Yes indeed! Blessed.
Pure Fiya🔥
Do you know if any of Akae Beka band members are playing in other bands/projects?
Great question. I don't know. Would be good to see them get together and back another artiste like Dezarie, Tamara George, Reemah, etc...

Ire Roots the 7 track you state "so to me, it feels like a separation from someone he loves". So who might be this one?
I also said I won't insinuate who this might be. I'll maintain that.
It is definitely his brother...🙌🏾🤲🏾👑👸🏽💝👁🇯🇲

Blessings queen, one love from across the seas.
Florida is a graveyard for rastas. It's a shame he had to go to Babylon, but not surprising that he died there.
So glad you mentioned Righteous Synergy and Homage. I can hear them so much of those in this album. Just a little sad because there was a certain change in his delivery in these. Felt like he was on the cusp reaching a new level unseen. You can hear a higher maturity and overstanding in these later recordings. he delivered the message well. seems the greats are only here for a little while. He is surley missed. Thanks for this breakdown!
You said this very well. I will go back and listen to these albums thinking of your perspective. It's a good one!
Same production team on those albums if I'm not mistaken - Ras @elijahtafari will be able to confirm this one!

@@GoArkChant looking forward to it. Great news.
From 2006 when I first saw Midnite perform in the Netherlands I have been deeply impressed by the band, but especially by Vaughn Benjamin. It came to me on a spiritual level. My go to when it comes to Meditation , knowledge of self and awareness/conciousness. A great storryteller and true messiah! What immense wisdom.
Blessed love. Totally! It's the same experience for me.

Greetings! Very nice to hear from you. And happy to hear that you love the brother's music.
Jesus was called the cornerstone. The freemasons use it a lot .the 33 is nature strength and wisdom. Spiritual enlightenment. Its also the black stone set in the corner of the kaaba in mecca Sorry i not make sense. I have flu and cant think straight.
His background singing is always my favorites
True, I don't know why I didn't mention that.
Cornerstone. See freemasonry and jesus and 33.3
Masons worship Satan.
