New Album Alert: "Future Oceans Dub" (2022) | Zion I Kings
When I think of contemporary roots reggae music, the music of Zion I Kings is forefront in my own personal taste.
I often say that this trio of production houses, which constitute of Zion High Productions, I Grade DUB, and Lustre Kings Productions, are the leaders of modern roots.
This is not to put anyone else beneath them, because it's not a competition or race to the top, but to highlight that this trio maintain an incredibly high standard in their craft, keeping sound the fundamentals or foundation of roots reggae at a musical level while also advancing the genre through their competence as sound engineers, musicians, and collaborators.
"Future Oceans Dub" is Volume 5 of their roots reggae dub album collection.
A portion of the proceeds from purchasing this album will go to Climate action club, which helps bring awareness to coral reef preservation.
