I don't like Joe Davis because he's overrated but saying he sounds fake but liking Kenny Albert who literally imitates the way announcers used to speak in the '50s and clearly speaks in the most broadcaster way possible and you not thinking that somehow sounds fake doesn't make sense. Also Joe Davis' calls are fine he's just monotonous and boring and he's famous because he broadcasts Dodgers games and I guess they thought because Vin Scully was monotonous that hiring monotonous Joe Davis was a good idea.

If anyone believes its the ownership and bad drafting that dooms the Browns, think again. The reason for the 3-14 season was the offensive coordinator and other minor coaches. Thank God they found out. Hire a new coordinator etc. Next year the Browns will go 12-5 or better. after all its worked before, hasnt it?

I’d try and get a guy like Dan Jones. Trade back and stack picks. Need to replenish the O line. I like that AZ RB. Hopefully they go back to Stefankis offense. I don’t think any of the QBs this year are worth reaching for. Not sure if Arch Manning is that guy. If you can get 3 1st round picks out of Garrett I say trade him as much as I live the guy.

The Browns OL during the first 6 games of the 2024 season performance was that of a High School JV Squad. Think about it, by the time the Browns were playing their 7 game this year the quarterback, Watson, had been hit / sacked so many times he was playing like an abused piece of raw meat not an NFL quarterback. I got a stop watch out to time, first hand, how much time Watson had during the 4th game of the season. In the first half of this game, I recorded that Watson had less than 2 seconds to pass the ball with around 1 second on most plays. So the notion that Watson was holding onto the ball too long was non-sense. With the exception of rookies and recent draft picks, the entire OL needs to be rebuilt which includes Joel Bitonio.

Bro I hate measure-able talk! Cam Skat is a perfect example. He does not fit the mold no, but he has 1st round football player ability. I'm not saying take him in the first. People just talk about prospects like race horses or live stock. Hand size, wing span whatever. They'll tear up his 40, his combine, dude jumps off the tape. Idc if a LB is 6 whatever X amount of pounds, is he constantly around the ball and can he hit!? Do they consistently make the regular plays like you said. We need football players not race horses.

With the firing of Dorsey, I’m confident that Stefanski taking the full reins of the offense again will generate a competent offense with a half decent QB. If one of the top QBs drops to the 2nd round, I say take a shot, but I’d personally trade back with a QB needy team, then take best player available. I think this team was a lot better than their record showed, and getting back to what worked will probably show that.
