@@optimisticfanclub yeah, but you mentioned how some folk would benefit the likes of Myles and such. But I understand; that would probably be too much of a tangent
I say this with no hyperbole, the Browns might have 3 of the top 10 route runners in the league. We know Amari is a route running savant. Jeudy is an elite route runner. And Elijah is a superb route runner, creating some of the most consistent separation in the league. I personally would love to see a lot of 3 WR sets with Jeudy in the slot and Elijah on the outside.
I think the Winston move has more to do with Dorsey and the team running way more shotgun spreads. Flacco was elite disguising the play action, so maybe it's just a better fit to be more mobile. He deserves an explanation since we acted like we wanted him and he went out his way to put us at the top of his list and endorsed this team, management, ownership so he definitely deserved more respect for the season he had for us and the boost of morale.
Man I hope Watson GOES OFF next season. So tired of Boomer “Browns fans” crying about Watson on FaceBook. I think he just needs to stay healthy and he’ll be alright. I hope he is training HARD this offseason..
@@brody1688ttehe's not even the highest paid QB in the NFL. All the haters just whine about the guaranteed money. It's not their money so why do they care. If Watson takes is to the Superbowl then 238 .million will be a 'steal'😅
I like Trotter Jr, Junior Colson, Payton Wilson and Edgerrin Cooper. So I agree we need to find a running mate with JOK!!! That tightend looks solid to.
Yeah it will be very tough to snag the both of them, thankfully it will be a QB and WR heavy first round so hopefully they get pushed back. Appreciate it man!
Nice recap. Like the Sennet call at TE, and they definitely need to draft at least one TE. I do think they will take a bell weather RB in the 3rd round if the right guy is available - good value at that point and with Chubb coming back later in year they will need a good workhorse beyond Ford etc.. .
Agreed, I still think they make a trade during the draft to be able to snag a RB, I just think it's much easier to find a serviceable RB than promising LB. It will be exciting to see!
If we could get those 2 with our 2nd and 3rd, id be all for it. Think BC might fall to the 4th though. Trotter might go high 2 but could fall to 3rd as well so you might be able to get those two and one more guy as well in that range. Just hope berry takes the best players available. Only real way to keep us good. Draft the best you can and implement the rest through free agency. Got faith Berry won't mess this up!
I agree. The Browns have made some smart "money ball" acquirements of talent in the off season. What about the newest player RB D'Onta Foreman? If you look at his highlight reel he runs (almost exactly) like Nick Chubb. Now Nyheim Hines will be hard to deny getting a second look. But I have more immediate needs right now. Like always my question is disguised as a comment. 1964 was one of the greatest years in my life, as it would might be for an 11 year old Browns fan. Yeah, the 1964 "World Championship". I remember Jim Brown. But more so I noticed the other 6 other guys that were always working to clear a path for Mr. Brown. The Offensive Line. End run right, and end run left. Give Mr. Brown the ball and let the magic happen. They were physically conditioned by design. They were very athletic and understood the need to make each assignment successful. And they won a championship as a team. Those were some exciting times back then. In March 2012, the Broncos reached an agreement with quarterback Peyton Manning, who had recently missed the entire 2011 season following multiple neck surgeries. Let's be honest. It could be said he had a broken neck. In his 4th year with the Broncos they learned the secret to winning. A QB with a severely injured neck needs protection. So the Broncos assembled a group of very athletic, healthy, disciplined massive assassins to insulate Mr. Manning making his job less stressful. By-the-way, the Broncos won Super Bowl 50 with a guy that had a broken neck. But it was his offensive line that were the real heroes. In 2010 Peyton Hillis was an overnight sensation as a running back for the Browns. Turns out it wasn't his running ability that made him famous. He had a secret. The secret's name was Lawerence Vickers. Vickers' reputation was as an explosive lead-blocker. When Vickers was not renewed..........Hillis was left to his own devices. Without Vickers, Hillis was a bust. So was the Browns strategy and the following season. All of that led us into the Dark Days of "the self made uncrowned King his Majesty Eric Mangini". This is not a criticism. Just a what about some talk about a "Steel Curtain" style offensive line to downplay the stress level for any Browns QB next season? See.........and there's the question? : )

In addition to the talent influx, I can't help but think adding Ken Dorsey is going to be a massive upgrade. Granted, things ended badly in Buffalo - but for a while there Ken had Josh Allen lighting it up. Don't tell me he can't do something similar for Watson.
He's really good as a catching RB out of the backfield. More explosive than Hunt. We upgraded every position we had to replace a guy at besides TE but that could change in the draft.
@larrymcguire4680 I'm not a big Watson fan and wasn't before he came here. However, he's young and I'll tell u rn, we don't need a superstar with this defense. He just needs to be average and since he's been a top 5 QB, I'm hoping he can at least be a top 15 QB this season. So yea, I know our situation. We can't cut him and get our money back so there's no point in bringing it up. We're not drafting a late rd QB either with Winston and the rookie we drafted last year that flashed future potential in DTR. We're stuck with Watson due to the guaranteed money. If the reports of Fields asking price has really bottomed out, I would grab em immediately. He got no favors in Chi and would easily thrive with this O line and skilled players and I'd have a battle in TC. We just don't have the cap to pay him since he'll be a FA next year lol
Tommy eichenberg or coulson from Michigan could be nice line backers in the draft. Kris Jenkins or mike hall jr at DT would be nice. Cade stover could be a nice late round TE pick potentially
funny thing is Stover is ranked and projected to go higher - I don't really see why though. And I could have seen DT but they just keep on adding them and already have Siaki who couldn't crack the game day roster until injuries mounted up
Watson has shown he can drop dimes. In that Titans game, he was hot! With a full off-season, I believe Watson will put his name back in the elite status! He doesn't have to be elite, but he'll definitely be a top name in the league.
honestly can't say much on him rn, have to dive into the tape - from what it seems is his injury left him apprehensive and somewhat non-aggressive, but he has a low missed tackle rate, I think his fall off and hate is probably somewhat overblown, but can't know for sure
He was solid and was definitely coming into his own, I think his inability to build up his frame or to be faster with the ball in his hands burned him. Not big enough to be a dedicated blocking TE and not fast/dynamic enough to be a real threat in the passing game
Brown's are just a quarterback away from super bowl. They have all the pieces in place, defense, wide receiver's, OL, RB. Just don't have the Quarterback. Get the right quarterback and you're a super bowl team. Go Brown's

No doubt! I think it will open a lot of opportunity for Njoku 1 on 1 as well
that's a smart take on Flacco and Winston. They would clammer for Flacco at the slightest provocation. Distracting. Hadn't thought of that.
without a doubt. thanks for watching!

Sinnot went off at the combine. Idk if we can get both but great eye for talent
Yeah it will be very tough to snag the both of them, thankfully it will be a QB and WR heavy first round so hopefully they get pushed back. Appreciate it man!

yeah, health will be the major determining factor
