Sorry this is a bit adrift of the brilliant video itself but I'm grappling with Affinity Photo 2. I follow instructions as carefully as I can but still can't make it work.I'd love to see a video along the lines of 'If it's not working, this might be why' video or written up somewhere (sort of working backwards from the result I want to get and what might be stopping me get it right, if that makes sense!) I think my mistakes may be that I didn't spot the tiny detail in a video or maybe it's thought to be very obvious (though clearly not obvious to me!) so it's not worth mentioning. And then weird things happen and I think 'how did that happen', eg where did that layer go? Why have two layers seem to be one layer now and how did that happen? Or why when I've used one type of brush and click off that brush does it still want to do its stuff when I've clicked on a different tool or brush entirely? Aagghh! I'll keep going though! But as I'm writing this tosh, I've just noticed I can click on a transcript! A transcript! Yay!

Anyone else coming here after the big Adobe Photography plan price hike? I've been using Affinity designer since 2017, but the main reason I was still using Photoshop was this feature. I know, I know, you can do it better manually but that takes ages. A quick and dirty object selecter and then some fine tuning in the mask will do most of what I need. Sure hope this will also be available for RAW editing.

I've paid for some courses through Udemy. Those are all crap compared to this. This was easy to follow and I would use everything you showed here. Awesome tutorial!

I see you've released a couple of new brush packs... which I've just bought! You should do a few tutorial vids show casing them!

You need to edit this and take out the coughs, please. Especially the clapping and coughing and clapping. Have you not listened to your own production? I had to turn it off as I couldn't concentrate because you don't respect your audience enough to record when you're well or edit the distractions. It's a bit ironic to have produced a video on editing, that badly needs editing.

The one thing that concerns me is the licensing. I think there are some limitations on some of these platforms if you edit for broadcast.
