Anything would be a great help the original posters look so cool but how to replicate them in an Affinity program is beyond me. I look forward to see how you go about it. My screen is waiting to be reset 😉

Thank for yet another great video. I have a request- Can you show me/us how to create a ‘Retro Travel Poster’ (the Art Deco Type) please. I’d ideally like the instructions to cover using a photo of a real place then turning that into the poster image by using either Affinity Photo or Designer I have searched but cannot find how to do i in Affinity hopefully you can help or point me in the right direction. Thank you.

Hey this is a great suggestion, I love Art Deco style. I can't say I'm an expert at that sort of design but willing to give it a shot.

A bit off topic from this awesome little tutorial, but do you feel illustrator or photo 2 is best for drawing pads and pure creativity? My wife wants to use her drawing pad more but can't decide between the 2 and feels overwhelmed by all the things to learn. Would love to see some illustrator content from you if you use it and enjoy it that is.
Thanks for the tutorial! Will be using this on images I use quite often in photo 2 but always have to cut it out first. Never thought of putting it in designer first, then exporting out with a transparent background for quick and easy use.

      Hey Octane,
By illustrator do you mean Affinity Designer? just confirming!
If so I would pick Designer over Photo for drawing pads, you can still use both vector and pixel brushes and it's definitely more versatile for something like that.

@@bydesignmethod Oh yeah duh! Illustrator is the one to make pamphlets and whatnot. Got designer and illustrator confused.
Awesome! That's what I was thinking as well as you'd have vector abilities as well, but I am not well versed in the drawing, sketching, and graphic design world so wanted to make sure from someone who knows their stuff. Appreciate it!
