Hey there -- it's me again. There actually are a couple of shortcuts for things. I emailed you a few minutes ago with a couple of them, but specifically here for your commenters & subscribers -- you can click R on your keyboard and it will bring up square! You can add an outline to that square by clicking a the 3 lines that look like they have varying thicknesses. when you hover over it, it will say border border style. You can change the width of the outline (and type of outline too). Then there are two color options. One is for the actual square and the other is for the outline. Change the one for the actual square by clicking that color and choosing the no color option. You can change the color of the outline by choosing the other (it will probably first be black, but you can change it to any color you like). Hope that helps everybody!
I’ve used Canva before it had its glow up and it was super blocky to use. These days it’s a brilliant tool and I love it. For the frame, you just need to get the rectangle shape, plenty of ways to customise it 😉
@@bydesignmethod I am trying to get into learning adobe/affinity but canva will keep a place in my heart. I created my CV/Resume on it, my art portfolio and postcard of my art I've had printed. As a novice software, video creation isn't too bad for what it is
@@bydesignmethod Thanks! I jumped on the rawpixel lifetime premium membership deal before I remembered I'm not a very creative person, so of course I turned to your videos to get some inspiration. I've been loving your Affinity content for some time now.

Thank you very much for these tips, I'm gonna pin it up!
I got your email, will take a look and get back to you soon.
@@bydesignmethod my pleasure.

Love this, any chance you could find something interesting to do with rawpixel as well?
Hey, thank you!
I did use some items from RawPixel on this vid --> th-cam.com/video/F6cAVw9Oae0/w-d-xo.html

Looks great, but I guess you could design the same Boring CANVA in Affinity Photo.
👀
Now, I don't know Canva... but did you just ask if there was an easier way to draw a rectangle? 😉😉
You never know 😃
I've asked worse!
Thanks for watching until the end! Appreciated!
@@bydesignmethod I got you! I left a comment with how to do just that!
Canva is cool :)
I think it's absolutely fantastic for people who want to start designing!
@@bydesignmethod I agree with it :)
