That seat on the XSR is a huge drag for me. It already fell behind on that retro look I love compared to the Z900RS, but I figured the additional tech goodies would make up for it... but that damn SEAT! Are there any aftermarket seats that make it more comfortable? The Z900RS is, appearently, the mark to beat for comfort...

I am a 71yr old sv650 rider,I luv it plenty of grunt and low end torque keeps up with my mates bigger bikes no problem .

Love the excellent content coverage ❤ but not a big fan of the voice modulation. FYI regarding fuel gauge, the float is on the left side of the tank, so it shows high value when just moved from kick stand. The guage settles after about 90 seconds of straight line riding.

IMHO - The V-Strom 650 should be compared to The Kaw KLR 650. Both are adventure bikes.

Good review. Most online reviews are only for a new royal Enfield. After the first 4000 kms, or a couple of years you start seeing the substandard materials used on them.

If you want to talk about affordable cruisers for new riders, you HAVE to at least mention the RE Hunter, which is exactly that. Reviewers will say it's even more nimble and comfortable than the Meteor. It's a little underpowered at 20 hp (aircooled single cylinder) and needs fairly frequent service. But like most other things with this bike, even servicing it is easy and fun. I'm a little biased, but fans of modern retro bikes should give this one more than a little consideration.

Ok, now i want this mote than r3. Sadly theres only one of them listed in my country.

I looked at the Z900RS but the throttle issue turned me off. I have another bike that I'm disappointed in terms of riding easy, paying too much attention to shifting falling into gear, front shocks on bumpy roads and an inability to run slow with a chug. It's fun to ride once you bypass those issues. But I wanted something to be my cruiser bike wo it being a cruiser, AND be trail worthy. All my bikes are dual sport in different sizes and I like that option in my bikes. I looked and looked and suddenly it just hit me. And the reason why it took so long is seeing the obvious is difficult bc promotion is either not there or explained with accuracy. So instead of a Kawi, I got a Triumph Scrambler 900, which is a Bonneville on trail tires. But it is so refined, the gears, the balance of the bike, the rumble is such a different experience.

Was originally going to get a T120 but XSR painted matte black with a different seat might be my pick

For a second there I went "Hold on a minute.. My Honda Rebel has a USB port, tachometer, and never had an option for no ABS" Then I realized that I have the Rebel 1100, not the 500 lmao

I would suggest if you are going for 300cc you can get HondaCB300f which completely loaded

I have the Rebel 1100. I know its more expensive than the 500, of course, but, it is still half the cost of a mid-grade Harley or Indian. and I couldn't be happier with it.

I am going to do weekly practice sessions to gain crash avoidance skills (swerve, quick stopping, slow turns and leaning skills in smaller areas) This seems to be sending me to the Honda CB300R , maybe.
