Zeblaze Vibe 3 HR. Finally, A Good Budget Smartwatch!
Just got one of these, with the docking station. Planning to test it with OpenStep, and some other old OS'es. And maybe Tiny Core to see if it can run modern things.
6:29 I just got a e6420 with a 2nd gen i7 2760qm that is Quad core
can it run on Windows 10?
Way more original and bolder than today's boring PCs
Hope you're okay.. Miss your videos, its been 3 years..
Was my first laptop and runs to this day on Ubuntu and Win7. Three teenage daughters and one harsh on equipment wife have broken many many computers and this is the only survivor 20 years after I bought it. Just ordered a used P51 after my wife broke our 4 y/o Lenovo ideapad.
Bro I can judge that you voted for Harris…….just by your fingernails lol. However great vid. I just got a refurb CF31. Love it
You should do a dual boot of Window 7 and a Linux Distribution.
9:46 The Dell Latitude D430 was released in 2007 and the Dell Latitude D820 was released in 2006.
i7 2720qm is 4 cores and 8 threads.
how did you get a red dell logo??? mine is the old low quality shiny almost badge shaped dell logo and it says "latitude e6300 series"
i keep getting a red x when booting up after changing ssd card. ipod classic 6th gen
Bonjours, pourquoi il y a plus de 8 sata alors qu'on peut mette 6 disques dur ou 8 disques dur si on retire les lecteurs. Bonne journée
Amazing thoughbook.. I bought one for US$100 at Dayton Hamvention in 2019,
I thank your past self for posting this, it helped me learn how to get into my cf-28. I used mine, way back in the early 2000's, on long motorcycle trips, it was the only pc that would handle the vibration from a bike. And here I am 20 years later wondering if there are any pics on the hard drive that I didn't download.
these wolfson dac ipods really dont sound that good unless you use higher impedance headphones or a headphone amp because of the relatively high output impedance
Chinense can't even put english right on the manuals, got it for 0.07 cents.
I got an old one of these from my workplace. It's a bit dusty so I'm currently disassembling it to clean everything, although I'm struggling with the right side panel. I have to say, this PC is a masterpiece. A lot of thought went into it, everything is built in a purposeful and logical way. The side panel gives a ton of useful information, the entire device is easy to disassemble (it's like 95% toolless) and the components are high quality.
i have the Latitude E6420 and i just only upgraded the ram from 4gb to 8gb and the hdd from 320gb to 500gb and the laptop is so good with optimizations its perfect im playing smth like minecraft with 120 fps paladins 60 and its perfect for a laptops like this and im planning for putting a 16gb of ram and putting a kingstone A400 480gb ssd and it will be so good i just know it btw if u wanted to upgrade ram and u have the same laptop just put 8gbs bec its maximum but if u wanted more like 16gb check in cpu-z the motherboard and check if its sandy bridge if its sandy bridge u can put 16gb its a good laptop to buy with small upgrades like rams and ssds and processor so yea its worth it to buy
and yes in 2024 windows 10....
if someone have a recommended processor that i can change just tell me i have intel core i5 2520M if someone knew smth better for my laptop tell me and if i can change this bad gpu like have u ever heard of an NVS 4200M???????????
That's cool.
Can I please have a hard drive 😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭😭
Wotk 96gb ddr3
How loud are the fans on this? Are they on all the time?
i got a latitude e6320 with 8gb of ram. i have a question. dell says that 8gb ram is the max for the latitude e6320 but ive seen ones on ebay with 16gb of ram (and videos of ram upgrades to 16gb and it working perfectly) so is it worth it to try 16gb of ram? the 8gb runs out pretty quick cause i do gaming and other stuff at the same time. but otherwise its a good laptop i once dropped mine down a long path of stairs and nothing happened only the cd drive opened and now randomly kept opening so i took it out cuz i wasnt using it anyway.
16gb is the max. Yes it is safe to upgrade to 2 8 gb sticks
In terms of internet I disagree with what you said Mine is so good and fast enough with internet services unless you have a poor connection I still use it in 2024 Besides is not a performance laptop it falls under business category so it’s decent for everyday job and super solid that’s what surprises considering the age
great vid!
I using this Dell Latitude E6420 for Audio WorkStation and Video Editing And Also Run Business web 2010-2024
Gone one form my older job. Need to replace HDD with something faster and add more ram to it. thanks for telling me what tyoe of replacement I need to get
i want to use like nas/virtualization how many sata power cable have??
By chance do you have drivers for this? My mogo seems to move the cursor very slowly. Updating its movement very very slowly. Its very responsive with clicking, so I think its driver related?
wHAT LINUX IS BEST FOR THIS?
i buy a z640 last month, I installed two E5 2699av4 CPUs for it,and radeon pro wx8200video card ,nice machine
"False advertising" says the guy who calls taking off the backcover a tear down.
Who’s here from drake
This is the exact PC I used in high school. I also upgraded it with an Evergreen "586" CPU and increased the RAM to 16 megs to make it a better gaming machine. I believe there was a video RAM upgrade that increases you from 1 meg to 2 megs, plus there was an L2 cache module as well. Thank you for the nostalgia!
Did you get the device new or used?
Hell yeah great video bro! Loved watching this. Keep it up.
Where do I get the music in the background?
Is the D430 a collectors laptop? Win 7 (or XP) 32 - bit version? Can it run a 64 - bit version? Found a tossed out D430 & docking station recently. Thank you 🤓
I have a CF-27 and don't have a copy of Win95 to try and can't get a copy of Win98SE (that I do have) to install off the 98SE install floppy. Even MS-DOS can't see the CD drive. Would you please post your working autoexec.bat and config.sys and the name of the CDROM driver that works? Thanks in advance. Mike
Excellent job sir
"Bit late to the party", but MX Linux is a very good Distro.
Bought one used in 2016, upgraded to ssd a couple years back, and recently ram, I use it as a scan tool in vehicles, love that it’s so solid , especially the lid, can’t flex it. I tripped over the usb cord, sending it 4 ft to the shop concrete floor, it didn’t sustain any damage, like you said, not a great screen, but for what I need it to do, it’s great
Fun fact. These things are used mainly in circulation internally, kind of, in HP. HP Indigo, a printing press company uses so many workstations for running the printers, making it run very, very well.
Not a issue to change , just clone the old hard drive to the new ssd card , simple
Anyone know how to reset password
Excellent review. Just to mention that upgrading from an HDD to an SSD will not only help with performance but also with battery lifespan/uptime because the lack of an electric motor that is always spinning, and also avoiding possible mechanical failure/data loss, as the HDD will eventually break. I have purchased a second hand MK5 unit with 16GB of RAM, SSD, built in GPS and 4G/LTE modem. It shows ~3000 hours operation in BIOS. It comes with a LIND car charger (made in USA). I love it and now I can take my old Toyota 4x4 from 1986 and go trough hell if needed 🤘 Ah, this configuration whas originally sold for 5960$ 😅
Those enterprise 1.6TB SSDs sound like magic. I saw one for $200. Is that a good price?
god damn that is a beautiful piece of kit, if i ever find that thing i will kit it out so damn much it will be top of the line
