dead fish smell means bad caps. time to order a capacitor kit. I'm going to suggest ordering Nichicon PS series? UPS series? caps to overhaul the power supply board. if it's smelling, it's also probably leaking, and that means you're going to need some baking soda/water solution to neutralize any cap goop and alcohol. I used that series of Nichicon caps to overhaul the very-hard-to-find PSU for a custom NEC Powermate SX/20vi machine given out by FedEx for their PowerShip 2 system. the PSU was made by Teapo and I wanted absolutely none of that given their reputation for terrible caps. so i decided to not trust any of the caps in their self-branded supply and go all out buying some. you'll want to shop around on Mouser and then compare on digikey for pricing.
I will have to tear it down and see what value and size the caps are that I will need... When I had it apart before I couldn't see any leakage, but that doesn't mean they aren't. Thank you for the info!
Do you know what a continuous beep means when this thing starts up? Mine doesn’t even get to any ram checks. It does have 640k of ram though, so I can rule out the beep indicating no ram. (edit: i have replaced the motherboard, and now it is in perfect working order. :>)
I have the printer attachment for it which I plan to demonstrate in a later video. I would love to find the external video adapter and monitor for it, but alas, they are near impossible to get.

That is correct. I found some bad capacitors on the power board and replaced them in a more recent video.
