Hey! Yes mine works fine. Go to settings and permissions and see if Spatial TV has permissions to location services. This is likely because services like Hulu need it to determine what shows it can show you

I have set the permission on the Q3 for the app to precise location. Still it will not open the Hulu page

Also it’s just stuck on the Hulu welcome screen

@@truthknox3432 start fresh like if you’ve saved Hulu as a favorite unsave it by removing the star next to the URL. Then go back to Hulu.com and try to sign in. I can’t reproduce the issue so I’m not sure. If all else fails go to settings > storage > spatial tv and clear data (you’ll have to sign into everything again though 😔

@@millenwagon since this video I’ve tried and you’re right. I still run at high just because i like having overhead. I’m not as much of a pixel peeper as I was back in my PC gaming days

@ I’ve been messing with settings for an hour or so today with half life alyx and tbh between high uktra and godlike, h264+ at 386mb bandwidth and 200mb bandwidth with the quest 3 codec… it all looked the same to me 🤣 so I think I’ll take your advice and save some headroom and go easy on my pc

HDMI Link! you can link your phone to the quest and watch. I need to test out all the streaming platforms to make sure they don't get blacked out because of digital rights. . . sit tight. I have a video coming on it soon.

I have that one too. The only problem with that is the lightning connector, I haven't found a good cable that gets around the digital rights issue. the cable i have works on my. ipad ( USBC ) and my wife's 15 pro ( also usbc ) I'll do some diligence and get it up this week. Any other devices at your disposal?

Honestly, you would probably get the same length of time as you did with your 1, however if you'e the type that likes the bleeding edge... it doesn't seem like you are if you've been on the Quest 1 this long... you may miss out on some power and next gen gaming experiences with the Quest 4, But if you'e just doing gaming the 3S will certainly last. I'm playing PC VR on mine these days and its a GREAT experience.

Hmm not sure is your boundary too small or too big? I’ll give it a try to see if I can replicate it but off the top of my head I’m wondering if the boundary is beyond the walls you’ve scanned or something 🤔

@@janetwoodville3643 Correct. This is a browser app. The windows that open are exactly what you’d get going to the website for any of these services in Chrome Or Firefox or Edge. They are web apps not native apps.

I agree .. I feel like they try to scare you from turning it off. There’s a warning about stuttering. But if your network is fine you shouldn’t need this..

But I will say this WiFi 6E and 7 are really the newest WiFi Standards so that’s why routers with these specs are more expensive ( usually more that $100 ) I would save up for a 6E , for your needs it will work fine, no need to get a 7 yet. What do you need to know? The biggest thing about this is that you can tell your parent/guardian that this router can be JUST for VR to your PC it doesn’t have to interfere with the rest of the house. I may do a “ how to set this up” video soon

@@janetwoodville3643 what you have to keep in mind is that it is a “browser app” so it’s a fancy representation of a web browser. The streaming services or productivity “apps” in the spatial app are in fact web apps. Hope that helps!

@@notanotherbrick6114 Hi there! I think this is unique to beat saber. Is it possible you have purchased song packs? They apparently can’t be shared. One to ing I’d try is go to the admin account on your child’s headset and makes sure beatsaber is installed and music packs are installed on the PARENT account. Then when you switch to your kids account see if that works. I’ll try it out myself in a few. Thanks for watching happy to help

Thanks for the info! I should mention when I first stumbled upon my “best settings” I was in fact using an old PC and old GPU (980ti) I will say though the 264+ at 500 is razor sharp but I’m hoping your suggestion is even more performance friendly. Cheers.

@@olekskandar7930 yes!! I mention it here 06:15 There’s 2 ways to do it. Stream the home movie video files like I did, or just pull them up on the PC or MAC while you’re mirroring the pc.

Unfortunately no, this is the streaming service. The same experience you’d get on any web browser.

no prob on the response .. as you can see I like this stuff 😅 the MX ink makes me hopeful. You MIGHT be able to find an APK but I doubt it will work. The fact that they removed whiteboards the. Added a stylus is just wild to me. The old features with the new stylus would be perfect! I’m keeping an eye on the downgraded version. I haven’t heard a peep from Meta yet. @@janetwoodville3643 yep just the website. If curved screens and purchased content are what you’re looking for, this isn’t it. This comes up in the comments a lot, I wasn’t aware so many people were purchasing through Apple. Right now HdMI link is the only way to get it done

I haven’t noticed many issues. Are you doing wireless PCVR?

@TheConstruct_VR i am, tried Virtual desktop with VDXR and steamvr runtime. And also airlink which runs better for me but not perfect. What software do you use for wireless streaming Metro?

@ try the Steam link app on your quest. Seems to be the best in landing in between visuals and performance (it will NOT be as sharp as virtual desktop) that with the SteamVR run time. You’ll probably have a smoother experience.

@@stivan312 Quest 3. The 3S has the same edge blur and sweet spot issues as the quest 2 because of the fresnel lenses. You’ll want the super sharpness of the pancake lenses if you’re buying it to watch media. Tell them I sent you👇🏽 www.meta.com/affiliates/AAFQS1357

I’m not sure about the exact resolution but I’m sure optimizer or sidequest bumped up will do nicely. It looks pretty sharp as is, but for example I can put TH-cam up to 4k and it looks great. So you may not need sidequest

@@chris_kazuki thanks for dropping a comment… and yes I think this one was out there before the boom of spatial computing so it’s a bit rougher around the edges. Not bad for a typical couch watching experience.

@@TheConstruct_VR I mean skybox looks pretty much like a carbon copy of it and doesnt have the issues. So i guess something went wrong somewhere in the development.
