Hello, it seems to me that this is one of the best applications for watching movies. I just miss one thing in all these applications, reading streams like Netflix or TV streams, linked to internet box subscriptions (like Free in France). Many thanks for this review
@@jean-francoisjacob yes this one doesn’t have any browser or connected service unfortunately. Skybox at least has TH-cam. I do like apps that try their best to be a complete solution! Thanks for watching!
@@TheConstruct_VR totally true, the « best » solution is a mix of all, but again congratulations for your Chanel, it’s clear without blabla, I’m fan ;-)
Unfortunately there’s still NO player on VR that organize the movies and shows in Library, like Firecore Infuse… I tried this Moon as well… it’s very good. And it is the only one that MAYBE is on the way of library, since it shows the movies covers and metadata information… now it has to read the whole movies folder and display all the movies covers like a library… AND THEN it will be perfect 😉
@@renatobastos3031 I would have thought the poster and meta data scraping then filtering would work. But I guess it’s still like you’re looking at folders. It seems developers should focus on users using a NAS and work on a sleek “dashboard” view for titles
Unfortunataley it did not play any of my videos from my NAS. Also UI seemed like it needs a bit of work eg browsing my NAS it would print Loading over the folder names. Back to Skybox..
Not sure how I missed this comment, but yeah that’s unfortunate. Honestly the similarities to skybox are too close to justify buying another app like this if you already own skybox. Thanks for watching!
@@TheConstruct_VR I hope they'll fix the issues with network at some point. Skybox is very nice but it would have been cool to try Apple Vision Pro feature and replace my "small" 42 inch screen with 100 or something :)
Tried it out and looked promising at first, but then i encountered countless issues with viewing angles. You cant lay on your side while having the screen next to you. And the viewing angle when the Display disappears changes with distance that is really strange. And the Hand tracking is hit or miss most of the time. So overall a pretty rough experience.
@@chris_kazuki thanks for dropping a comment… and yes I think this one was out there before the boom of spatial computing so it’s a bit rougher around the edges. Not bad for a typical couch watching experience.
@@TheConstruct_VR I mean skybox looks pretty much like a carbon copy of it and doesnt have the issues. So i guess something went wrong somewhere in the development.
Do you have any idea why I don't have any anchor buttons showing up on my Quest 3 while using this app? I also don't see any ambient lighting in passthrough. My room is scanned with furniture included. I can't seem to figure it out. TY

@TheConstruct_VR Thanks for the quick reply! I have a Plex Pass, so it's my go-to app on the Shield TV, but I also have accounts with all the usual streaming services. I chose the Quest mainly for the lenses and 4K support. I was considering the XREAL Air 2 Pro, but the price was too high.
