Thanks for your comment Bobby. DNA evidence suggests a human bottleneck about 70,000 years ago, when adults were reduced to about 10,000. Perhaps these people survived in the Caucuses region, resulting in Proto-Indo-Euro etc. This isn't really the focus of my work, my focus is the origin of the constellations and associated concepts, in this video I talk about the element Carbon. I am about to expand my book, The Origin of Numbers to include more elements that can be explained by Welsh such as syl-ffwr meaning earth-burning.

Welsh or a very similar antecedant language was the language that survived through the last human bottleneck c.70,000 years ago. We are lucky that Welsh has survived in Gwynedd.

Thank you Marc for your comment. In ancient times, there was no difference between the people and the spiritual keepers: they were one and the same. It is only in modern times that they were separated and the people were taxed - the tythe was paid from the people to support the religions. It is at this same time that the notion of 'Hell' was introduced, perhaps to ensure continuance of the tithe. Yes, you state clearly the nuances. Controlled religion fears Awen. People should not fear Awen. Awen is truth, also. No mis-truth exists in Awen. My ancestors showering benevolence on me, do not do this in an untruthful way, but with love, caru. We don't have a choice of good/evil, we only have a choice to go to the truth or not. The truth may be difficult at times. Fate is in our own hands, rather than someone else hands: this is the verbal, shared tradition.

Thanks again Pendraig for your comment and insight. Ddu is black, I agree the vowel inflection is intended and hidden by the black allusion. Add the suffix -w to Dde and we have a name and the word for God, later adopted by the Romans as Deus, and thereafter by all the romance languages. In my book The Origin of Numbers, I state that 2 is the name of the sun god De-w, as De refers to the south (as you say) and implies the sun. No doubt in the context used in Gwynedd at that location it referred to the matriarch goddes Dôn, and the link between the Awen flowing down from the gods to the mortal plane. Thanks for that insight into De/Gallt (action, impulse/energy, power), which is new to me, but reinforces the importance and meaning of Awen. Yes, to the Afon Dyfrdwry, and the Afon Dyfi, and Afon Dwyryd, which three (divine) make the ecliptic of the Star Maps of Gwynedd, as I set out in The Origin of the Zodiac. But I am sure there is more richness and meaning in these names to navigate. Thanks for the info on protection of the Dyfrdwy - interesting and essential! Yes to the divine energy, and that my well be why dwr is water (or wa-dwr): God is duw, and the action of god is water duw-wr, shortened to dwr. The mirror image of that symbol on the horizontal axis is the original “alphabet” symbol for Ŵ, the “so below”. The “alpha and omega”, A (the beginning), W (the end) A (prefix) an affirmative, W (suffix) a negative, When the  is placed above the Ŵ you get the original “alphabet” symbol for Ô, the diphthong for AW is pronounced O when AW is at the end of a word. O is also the inflection of AW. A single ray being the equinoctial ray I is the original “alphabet” symbol for i and this represents God in the character of mediator and preserver. The /|\ symbol (Awen) represents the Creative A-wen the blessed A, the blessed beginning, what inspires Creation. The \|/ symbol represents the Destroyer In Welsh IAW (Yahweh) is one of the forms in which the Divine name is written and it is affixed as a termination to form the infinitive of verbs that imply, to make, to cause, to effect. So that is why W at the end of some words causes the opposite, so for example Duw comes from the root word Du (Black/Dark) and literally means That is beyond the state of blackness/darkness; The opposite of Du, blackness/darkness ie that is light; The deity of light Dew comes from the root word De (Separated/Parted/Divided) and means The cause of arrangement or propriety; the willer; The opposite of De, ie bringing together, constructing, creation The deity of creation. Before W was depicted as W, it was originally a U, so Dew would have been Deu, so likely where Deus comes from and the soft mutation being Ddeu(s) Dd was once depicted by a Z, so Ddeus would have at some point been written as Zeus, the day of the week that is dedicated to Zeus is Thursday, which in Welsh is Dydd Iau, IAU being the original spelling of IAW (the W originally being U) and IAW/IAU being the form in which the Divine name was written. I - I - The Preserver (Present, what is) A - /|\ - The Creator (Future, what is to come) W - \|/ - The Destroyer (Past, what was) Duw could be the god which Tuesday represents Ares being the God of War and Duw you could say is U - the destroyer and W - the destroyer. Being a destroyer or waging war is not always a negative thing, especially if you are waging war on darkness, destroying darkness which is what Duw essentially is. Dai - what produces, effects or gives existence; the name of a deity, from the base word ai, a being the creator and i being the preserver Da - what is produced, the result of creation. Words that are prefixed with D, as the above examples are, come about because Y is the lowest vowel and when two words are combined and the word following the word ending in Y starts with a vowel, the Y is dropped. A good indicator or this will be that the vowel directly after the dropped Y will have a circumflex. In modern writing, the circumflex is often dropped but occasionally it is still preserved. So to take Dai as an example, Dy + ai becomes Dai. Dy is prefixed to words to give them a frequentative or interactive force, so Dai being what is apt to create and preserve Dwr is Dy + wr and this is a case where you will see Dwr written without a circumflex but still commonly see it with the circumflex. wr meaning the state of being on, over or at so Dŵr being what is apt to being on or over Dôn - Dy + on On meaning, that rises up, that is over superior or beyond, that is continuity Dôn - that is apt to rise up, be over superior, be beyond, be continuity, the cauldron being the circle of life? In the Mabinogion, is it Dôn’s Cauldron that is used to revive the dead? When the dead are placed in they rise up from the dead, however when they are revived, they can no longer speak. To me this sounds like how Ghosts are depicted, risen from the dead but unable to speak. Is Dôn the god who brings out the spirits in the dead and then sends them on their journey to the beyond?

Where is your source if you don't mind me asking? I talk about the origin of vowels in my book The Origin of Numbers, you have provided much more information here that that compliments my work. It will have to go into revised edition 2!! -w suffix also makes a name of the root. De means south and the right, so when we orientate with our right to the south, we are facing the sunrise (number 2), therefore De-w is the name of the sun god; hence also Dieu, Deus and many others. Duw-wr, making Dwr, -wr suffix being an operator of the root, could represent water being the work of God? Maybe Dôn has those attributes - I think death as an eternal nothingness is not a concept the ancients believed, so Dôn might have had reviving powers. I can't remember that in my Mabinogi. Dôn is also a wave or tone, also to endow or gift: this is the spark of life, everything is vibration. We're now going through the 7 Hermetic principles. I think Dôn is the final arbiter of Awen, dishing it out, keeping it all moving around the Milky Way. A feminine creation god is appropriate for this task. Yes, saved by re-packaging it. Now immortalised in fiction and in my opinion, better than lost altogether, as the Mabinogi almost was lost, and much of the triads have been lost. At least we have a chance to pick at the fragments of history in LotR, and have a discussion. And yes, repackaged in an Anglo-Saxon sugary coat. Thanks AS for being so globally understood, the perfect vehicle for widespread dissemination. We also have to put ourselves in Tolkein's shoes in the early 1920s, a time when the state (unrepresentative of any culture) was actively trying to destroy history and language. Tolkein, did (I think) what he could to save as much as he could, and he had much to lose being Prof of English at Oxford.

@originofthezodiac9856 spot on huw, as we know the best way to get rid of a culture is to destroy its history or turn them into myths, as we have seen in our own history kings become prince's, Arthur has become a fairy tale, I too think Tolkien was instrumental in trying to save what he could, this is evident in LOTR. It's obvious to me that Tolkien knew history, and just like davinci, he installed these cultures and symbolism into his work. Which tells me he must have been enthused by them. And it would have gone against the grain of his peers, so he hid it in his work. This is why he calls her arwen, who leaves for the west by ship, to the next realm just as you have described in your work, I think Tolkien was very aware of british history and he was obviously aware of starmaps,
