  • Plato first presented Atlantis in his plays Timeaus and Critias, recounting the discussion between Solon and the Egyptian priests. So it must have been referred to by the Egyptian priests and they got their language from the Ancient Britons, so can we use Welsh, the living remnant of Ancient British to understand what Atlantis means?

    Like being at the cinema, and with something worth watching. The amazing thing is that although I arrive at a meaning of Atlantis in a totally different way, such is the minutely detailed observance of the Great Mind that your meaning and mine are very close. It's almost as though you have set out from the west to walk somewhere, and I have set out from the north; but we arrive at the same place. 'Well done' barely begins to be sufficient comment on this.

      Thanks Marchell. I am looking forward to your meaning of Atlantis; I think it probably had several meanings on different levels, such was the Druids way. And the more important the concept, usually the more rich the different meanings eg Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is very rich in meaning.

    Absolutely intriguing. I’ve known of the Glastonbury zodiac for a while it’s great to hear there is one here in wales. Definitely will get the book. One thing that keeps on returning while watching these videos is the legend of the ancient Egyptians coming to wales. I hope it is true especially now that the idea that the hieroglyphs are more linked to Welsh. Can’t wait to see what comes next

      Thanks Catherine, the original Zodiac is in Wales! In the book (and other YT videos) I expand on the prospect that Welsh as the only living remnant of Ancient British is probably the global language from before the great cataclysm: so it's more a case of Wales going to Egypt rather than the other way around!!

      I highly recommend looking up Comyns Beaumont’s work. I have a couple of his books and he believed much of the biblical stories originate from the UK. Wales being Egypt! Babylon, York and Jerusalem, Edinburgh. CB was the Daily mail editor in the early 1900s and spent his career on fleet st and then retirement writing alternative history he had researched. I think Tolkien was right when he said, if you want to know your true history you need to start by looking to the old names of places, rivers and roads. :)

    its worth noting that before Plato, Herodotus mentions "Atlantes" slightly different but probably the same word imo

      Thanks pilot, and of course the Egyptians (high priests Sonchis of Sais and colleagues) are credited by Plato in explaining it to Solon c.600BCE. Heredotus c.450BCE. The core of 'Atlantis' is Llan/Clan, which I investigate in the subsequent video.

    Brilliant. Could the name place Merthyr Tydfil / mercher Mercury with suffix Tid be treated in the same way? On one of Ross's shows, he said he was of the view that this place name is much older than the story of the killing of the martyr called Tydfil by the Pics.

    • @originofthezodiac9856
      @originofthezodiac9856  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Andrew. Ross, Tim and I had a discussion about Merthyr and we thought it related to Mercury. I think we had a different explanation of Tydfil. The myth about a martyr is a Christian cover over story from the middle ages.

    Excellent work. Atlantis is America. America is a semetic expression which means "Ameri/Ameru-To be Inhabited prosperously, to be filled with life" and "Ka- Encompassing land or kingdom"....

      @@gwynwilliams4222 Meryck - yep, its A(p)Meryck(A). The P gets dropped and an A added. Welsh History and its connection to America often gets avoided or ignored in favour of creating a false and Greater connection to England. They do this with Ireland and Scotland too over Wales and Scotland.

      Granite / quartz is very magnetically conductive (relative to other rock). Try dowsing there. Also download a magnetometer app onto your phone and check your dowsing with the phone. The stones were brought together to magnify local magnetism directed through rock fissures.
