  • Stonehenge is more than a monument, it is one of the most sophisticated devices constructed in history, and it's modern name is embarrassingly underwhelming. Our ancient ancestors had much better imagination and reverence for this work of incredible science and beautiful art. This video reveals the original name of Stonehenge.

I agree Suzy. I think some of the names we are given are to hide or play down their true wonderfulness.

Hi again. The most recent news on Stonehenge is interesting. The mainstream now accepting that the structure has close links to Egypt. Academics suggest as usual, that the ideas came from the near East to Britain, despite Stonehenge being, 'unique'. They ignore the evidence to suggest that the building methods and the reason for building them probably originate from the same cultural traditions. The reports are described as being new evidence and as always, the mainstream are year's behind people like yourself. Keep up the good work. Heddwch.

Thanks Andrew for your comment and encouragement. Hugh Newman's recent interview with Ralph Eliis is pertinent to you point:

Stonehenge may have been constructed when the obliquity (tilt) of the Earth was 22.5 degrees. Robin Heath has also presented on this. There is a slight wobble to Earth's tilt from 22.1 to 24.5 degrees over ~40k years (called Precession of Obliquity and is different to Precession of the Equinoxes). Earth is presently titled at 23.5 degrees and this is reducing from the maximum towards 22.1 degrees. So working back using a sine curve we can estimate the date that (the original) Stonehenge was constructed: I calculate this to be 25,000 years ago. It may have been built several time. There may also have been some Velakovsky type 'jolts', as recorded in the Mabinogi, to Earth that bumped us forward/back (ie an erratic sine wave), we don't know at this time, but I think it is correct to say that Stonehenge and the Watchers were a culture that existed before the present dynastic period in Egypt, and probably at least as old as the makers of the Sphinx.
I think the mainstream is changing slowly, but they are clinging onto their dogma, and only a fringe of movement is acceptable to them at any time. They fear chaos if we (the people) realise that their (the establishment) picture of history they've been preaching is rubbish.

Interesting idea. My first reaction when I see the word Giant is to think of the connection that Wilson and Blackett pointed out with it being a mis-pronunciation of Geantes - who were one of the groups from the early migrations. They could have been the ones that erected the stones and the name the "Geantes' dance" would make sense. I know I usually push the Welsh words behind things but this one might be different. :)
Great video - I particularly enjoyed the heel - heul reference that makes perfect sense.

Freos heol........' rising sun' in Greek. Hence the legend of the Friar's heel.

Thanks Flumstead. I can't replicate that Greek meaning, but Ffreul / Ffraw / Ffrau is a gush / flux /state of motion in Welsh.

In enoch uriel the angel of the sun and devine strength was showing him something with the sun. I personally think its a calender for something really important in the future. If we knew how to read it then we could figure out the meaning. But inhad a dream about the stones and a big book a while ago. I inly dream the future so theres a book oh wait ... I figured it out.

That's an opinion I've not heard before. I couldn't see the reference in Genesis Ch 6 & 7, with is about the Noah flood (KJV).
