I love how clearly and elegantly Cymraeg defines and explains ancient knowledge. Thank you Hugh for your research and for presenting it in a way that is easy to follow for a layperson such as myself.

Hugh, this was riveting; atmospheric music, and a gripping introduction to a subject which I for one am fascinated by. Great to see you back in action, and I can't wait to see the series, starting with Aries. But the notification bell still remains firmly off, no matter how hard I whack it!

Thanks Marchell. Aries coming up!!. Not sure how to fix the bell, I made sure the video was for everyone.

Zodiac in semetic expression briefly means "encompassing measured direction/measured entering or encompassing measured boundary/circle"

There may be a Semetic interpretation that I'm unaware of. The Sumerians were not a Semetic people, (as stated by the Akkadians).

Thank you. Yes I have, in my books. I have done them all. I have concentrated on finishing The Origin of Time which explains all the constellations. It will be ready in the next month or so. You can join the email group at originofthezodiac.com for news of its release.

Loving this info, totally agree about Aries being the first of the zodiac & not just because am one ☺️am looking forwards to that vid, I believe march is the first month/season of the new year going by ancient solar calendar!

Thanks Michelle. You are right, the spring equinox is the start of the ancient year (I think).

@@originofthezodiac9856 Yes, in most places. In ancient Egypt, the new year began with the flooding of the Nile, which was in June or July, I believe. There are a couple of other exceptions I used to know of, but can no longer recall.

    Hello Hugh
I'm new to your channel and I was wondering if Ophiuchus appears in your Star Map. Also I noticed you had it on Google Earth, is it publicly available?
I am actually new to the whole subject, after being recommended Behold Jerusalem by Graham K Griffiths, which shows all 13 Zodiac Symbols, including Ophiuchus, which he mis-identified as Gemini's twin.
I have shared the content of his book on my channel and I think you might find it extremely interesting.
There is a very brief introduction video that shows the Symbols and their location in the landscape of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
I saw your video on the Megalithic channel and was interested in how the landscape defined the constellations, especially as the constellations seem to define our coastlines in Graham's book.
I'll be ordering your books shortly 😉

Hi Our-story, welcome, thanks for your message.
Ophiuchus is on the Star Maps of Gwynedd, it will be in my book The Origin of Time, which I am currently writing.
I didn't look for it when I wrote The Origin of the Zodiac. I have since been there and visited Ophiuchus with Hugh Newman of Megalithomania.
I will visit your channel and have a look, thanks.
There are three types of constellations on the Star Maps of Gwynedd.
1 Maps that match the heavens above eg The Plough atop Cadair Idris
2 Maps created on the ground to represent distinct constellations eg Corona Borealis
3 Maps that define the constellations above eg Pisces and Virgo, as you will see in my book.
The final proof is the language that is written into the landscape and defines the constellations. This will be completed in my book The Origin of Time, since this was the purpose of the Star Map, to define time.
I have explained this several times elsewhere and will be explaining it on the LeakProject TH-cam channel next week, Wed 17th at 7pm
