    So satisfying to witness you blowing the dust of thousands of years of astronomical and astrological linguistic history. It all fits so well. Thanks.

      Thanks Andrew, a flattering metaphor. It fits well because it's the original, most ancient common denominator.

    'Eryres' related to 'eyrie', perhaps -- specifically used in Engish of an eagle's nest?? What joy this was from my fellow word-nerd. I enjoyed every syllable.

    • @originofthezodiac9856
      @originofthezodiac9856  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely Eyrie is from the Welsh. Thanks for your kind words.

    Excellent, if the smart one's gone take dumbbells 100s if not thousands of years to figure out what has happened.
    Totally correct very important links to Ancient history.

      I hope you enjoy the book and the trip to Gwynedd. I'm going there again on Friday!!! The book will help you when you're there, I can't put all of that on TH-cam. If you're climbing, I recommend the path to Llyn Y Cadair from the Gwynant car park. It's a two hour walk each way.

    For what it's worth, the French for 'nest' is 'nid'. The D is silent, but there, and AFAIK, there aren't that many French words that end in D.

    • @originofthezodiac9856
      @originofthezodiac9856  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's important. French is from Latin, Latin from Etruscan and Etruscan has a common source with Welsh. La fenêtre is French for window, from Latin fenestra, there is no meaning of 'fen' in Latin. Ffenestre is Welsh for window and it is made up of ffen, 'a flowing-, air' and ystre 'a course'. The origin is explained with Welsh, representing an antediluvian language.

      Ptolemy inherited the system and addressed any remaining issues. The Christians adopted it later.

    Very interesting, as always, Hugh. On the "Field Dweller" point, does the Gwynedd dialect of Welsh translate "Field" as "Maes"? I'm no expert, but I believe the word they would use in Gwynedd is "Cae/Gae." Not sure whether that is relevant, helpful or otherwise?!

    • @originofthezodiac9856
      @originofthezodiac9856  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks Peter. It's helpful, I think they are interchangeable. Cae/Cai/Cau a hedge, to enclose, an enclosure representing a circle with a start and and end, like a hedge to a field. As is the ecliptic to the two celestial hemispheres.

    I meant to ask you how you feel Issachar fits into this. The meaning is always given as 'Hired Man'.

    • @originofthezodiac9856
      @originofthezodiac9856  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've not worked on the 12 tribes and their symbology Marchell. On first glance, Issachar's emblem is the donkey/ass (Asen/Asyn in Welsh), which might be a representation of the Field Dweller.

    • @marchellabrahams
      @marchellabrahams 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@originofthezodiac9856 It's a difficult one, I think; the ass/donkey has two burdens, and lies down between them, so perhaps there's a Libran element of balance? The ass is the one which bears, after all . . .

    Thank you Hugh for sharing. I believe this consultation is all about the Ram, the Lamb of יהוה Yahuah El,Elohim(God) and His Son the Redeemer; הושע Yahusha Ha-Mashiach (Jesus Christ) on the feast of Passover, Yahusha (Christ) who paid with His life on the cross, mankind's sin debt with His precious blood, for those who believe on Him, and also Aries is the time and start of the first Hebrew month of Abib/Aviv which the Passover takes place.
    Did you know, that יהוה Yahuah's (God's) true Sabbaths and feast days; His appointed times for His plan, of redemption for mankind through His Son the Redeemer; הושע Yahusha Ha-Mashiach (Jesus Christ), are in His Mazzaroth(Zodiac), His calendar clock in His heavens (Gen 1:14-18), Yah's true Sabbaths, which are a sign/mark on His people who keep them (Exo 20:8 & 31:13 & 16- 17 & Ezek 20:12-20 & Heb 4:3-11), are declared by His creation calendar in the heavens through His; Sun, moon, and stars; His clock in His heavens!
    Genesis 1 : 14-18, And El,Elohim (God) said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15, And let them serve as lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth.” And it was so. 16, El,Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And He made the stars as well. 17, El,Elohim set these lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth, 18, to preside over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And El,Elohim saw that it was good.
    Yah's 3 witnesses in the heavens : His Sun tells the time, His Moon the day & month, & His Stars the seasons.

      Than ks for sharing your comment Caroline. The Star Maps of Gwynedd are very old, much older than the flood of Noah, perhaps not even of the age of Aries or Taurus. Many people and cultures have interpreted the stars, and all of them are valid for themselves.
