I fully rebuilt and manual swapped my bk1 2.0 but like all I’m getting is cranking but not turning over

Your car needs 3 things to run: air fuel and spark, first thing I checked was if the fuel pump was turning on and sending it to the fuel rail, check coil packs spark plugs, ecu. My guess is since you’re manual swapped it may be something in the ecu

@@thesuburbanGenny true those 3 factors checked out. Not to mention this car sat for awhile before I dropped the motor back in (so old gas? Maybe water in the tank?)

@ very possible are you getting fuel to the rail when you put the key in on position? Take a hose off put it in a bottle and see if it sprays fuel also could be clogged injectors, or clogged fuel pump since it was sitting don’t flood your engine trying to keep cranking if it is getting fuel it’s probably ecu related if I had to guess what ecu are you using stock?

@ oh im definitely getting fuel to the rail and the fuel pump is a new 525. But yes the ecu is stock but I crossed the neutral safety wires(was told to do that after tranny swap) but I’ll definitely try testing if injectors are clogged

This was a while ago I don’t remember which one you’re referring to are you talking about the bolt for the oil pump or ladder frame? If I remember properly I believe it’s actually a blank hole not needed

@thesuburbanGenny under oil pump for latter frame. Hyundai actually had the bolt in stock

@ gotcha I think I actually ran into the same situation I don’t remember if it needed it or not but for some reason I remember going to Hyundai for a oil pump bolt

It is an absolute pain you gotta keep wiggling lol technically you can take off the tank fairing and your air box and remove it completely so it’s easier but it’s more work. But I just kept messing with it till I was able to pull it over and seat it

You should normally tune your bike no matter what adjustment you make however the change with an exhaust is so minimal it’ll run a little more rich but rich is always better than lean . It’s not needed but recommended

It’s the same thing as a car they’re always going to recommend you run factory size tire but doesn’t mean you can run other sizes, they don’t look I to tire size aspects if you get into an accident there’s no legal statute that says it’s illegal to change the tire size or modify a motorcycle in any way possible. Booklet is just manufacturer recommendations for best mpg and accurate Odometer readings

I’ve been loyal to this car for 8 years I have bills to pay and a family to feed I would keep it if I didn’t have more important things in life to worry about sadly I don’t know what comes next yet but there will be more projects to come and currently have plenty more things going on with the bike that still have yet to be posted

That light is for the clock spring not traction control. Unless you retain your factory clock spring that light will not go away this is just for airbag light to be disabled

F22? And if you are automatic and you turbo a 3.8 you will little to no tuning support besides alphaspeed which I don’t recommend

Stock is fine if you get an upgraded air filter you’ll need a tune

Same rims just bigger tires bike handled way better gripped way better on accelerating but top speed was like 3mph lower

I've had this exact exhaust on my 21 mt03 for 2 years now. It's awesome. Best sounding pipe for a 300cc bike.

Never had an issue with the stock sleeves even at 42psi but now it’s got css sleeves and I don’t beat on it much but it’ll take it

@thesuburbanGenny appreciate it! I'm building a 500hp veloster N (basically the same engine) and I'm debating I'd sleeving it is worth it or not

2.0 sonata is a different engine I wouldn’t know where to find parts for that but yeah basically forged internals

No it was a straight bolt on just make sure you have the proper bike year and model selected on your filter for the exhaust it’ll only show what will fit your motorcycle

Well I have the same as you. And it’s a year older, but I looked at the 2021 and it says it doesn’t fit yours either? Is it the right link
