Now i have to break in the motor a few hundred miles before we can dyno tune it but stay tuned i have more content on the way! I wouldn't recommend jumping right into the turbo kit without having work done on the motor/engine first. Even if they tell you it is fine. Travis told me to do rods, pistons, bearings, and studs at the minimum if I plan to boost my car. I asked him specifically. I have a 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 that is stock. I am too poor to do anything with it, but if I ever get rich in the future, I plan to get a built motor from Travis MT Motorsports or have it LS3 swapped. That way I can get reliable 500whp without it blowing up.

    • @malikkerr4750
      @malikkerr4750 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bikotheanimator6169 interesting I’ll shoot them a message because I was definitely reassured that the amount of boost that the kit runs is safe for completely stock block

      @malikkerr4750 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bikotheanimator6169 I even read some to the forums they got and this database for everything related to the kit and everything is saying running the kit on stock block is fine but I also originally thought I would need to build first so I’ll do some more research.

    It good you have a Dad who knows how to spanner. Did you spray the car or wrap it as I saw the door jambs were red?
    I'm going to look through your vids to see if you did one on the stereo. I have to think you put a lot of dosh into that. I picked up a '13 with only 24k on it in the red and I love it. I'm just trying to learn what I can do to make it a bit quicker without taking out another car loan to pay for it.

    • @thesuburbanGenny
      @thesuburbanGenny  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s sprayed but I didn’t do the jams I plan on doing them soon, there’s a lot you can do to these cars my favorite setup that wasn’t too expensive was a stuffed turbo with e85 and full bolt ons. The car made 376whp and was my most reliable setup. Just gotta have a good tuner that’s the most important thing.
