Would’ve been a catastrophic fail because your fuel pump wasn’t big enough or safe to run the expected hp which you wanted. We told you several times what needed to be done and didn’t do so until you found a new tuner in which magic it’s running much better who would’ve known It was so easy as in upgrading your small dw340 to a Dw400 all your problems would be solved. Also your tune wasn’t finished and we advise not do Open Wot pulls but you decline to listen knowning you had fuel issues and we told you to comeback once you did the upgrade. So we would adjust everything for you but you declined and wanted to adjust it yourself in which don’t allow for oblivious reasons. So don’t throw shade on us for advising you and declining to listen. Remember there is always 2 sides to the story have a blessed one.
It’s so good to know that a 850 horsepower rated fuel pump in which you guys told me to get to make my power goals was not good enough to make 500. 340lph=90gph, volume to power is 100hp per 10gph… 90x100=900🤭or you can do 2.64hp per liter = 897.6, you’re welcome for that information. Also I remember clear as day I was told “don’t do too many pulls” not “don’t do WOT pulls” which I only did one for a log to read the entire log, and I requested to have my ECU unlocked to visually inspect the fuel map, not to adjust anything which since it is my tune, a service I was paying for on my ecu in my car I deserve the right to be able to view everything on my ecu and hell if I wanted to, make adjustments myself too yeah it can void my tune with you but then it would be on me, but even if it were on you guys possibly just like my last tune and my motor went boom you guys took no action to view any logs or anything and waited for me to spend a lot more of my hard earned time and money to rebuild my motor and almost do it all over again. I wouldn’t be the first person to have had catastrophic tune through this company as I have about a dozen people behind me to vouch on all of this information 👍🏼 thanks for nothing , you guys will no longer receive my support or recommendation.
@@thesuburbanGenny just because the pump is "rated for 850 horsepower" doesn't mean it will get there. Shit when Cairo had the walbro 525 there was a time the fuel pressure wasn't keeping up at 500 whp and it was doing the same thing your car was doing until he took it to Andrew Noel and he tidied up the fuel basket and fixed the fuel relay kit. After that fix we were seeing 11 afr at the same boost rather than 14. Norman had set your fuel map to inject everything it had to keep the car rich and it still leaned out cause there was a lack of fuel pressure. You can't fix a faulty fuel pump through a tune.

Especially the customer service aspect where I politely asked for the ecu to be unlocked so I can view the services I paid for to confirm it was healthy to run when it was not. I even asked the next morning to log in and check the car because it wasn’t even idling properly and was misfiring and was told to wait until I get a new pump when my pump was fine to begin with. The only reason I put in a 400 was because I already had it ordered after we were on the dyno. The car was never running properly after the tune and I didn’t get the corrections I needed. My opinion stands.
You was tuning with the tuner that have the record. I recommend to fix all first and details that dealer toll to do. I make 550whp without issues. If you still stock internals do not push more than 400whp.
I have a fully built motor and have all the supporting mods to make 600+whp I had every mod they originally told me to get… and all of a sudden the mods I had… weren’t “good for the power”
From my personal experience from owning a genesis coupe 2.0 in the past, most the community is horrible along with the aftermarket and tuning support. I had boost problems and I had gone from tuner to tuner and it always ended up being a waste of money. Just my personal experience though I Love genesis coupes but switching platforms was one of the best things I’ve ever done
I agree it’s hard to make these cars fun and reliable you only get one or the other… it’s a lot of R&D with these cars but I love it and Im enjoying learning
I don't know if you ever watched haggard Garage channel or life od. But Orion had a turbo genesis that had been tuned and the same thing happened to him on the highway and blew his engine.
Do you have a return style fuel system or are you using the stock basket? The pump is too small. If you changed your pump it will stop leaning out. That pump is not going to make "800 horsepower " like you said in another comment especially if you have the stock returnless fuel system. You should make another video with that bigger pump. I bet you will not lean out with the same tune. I could go on and on but others have said the same thing. Just out that pump in and see. I don't understand why you think that universal pump would make 800 hp on all platforms.
I admit I didn't watch thebwhole video because I already know this platform and I know what injectors you have so I know for a fact the pump will correct your issue.
