Tisas D10 10mm accuracy at 55 and 100yds.
Another video showing the awesome accuracy of this $600 10mm 1911. I shoot it at 100yds offhand at a steel silhouette of a pig used in BPCR competitions, then fire a rested 5-shot group at 55yds.
I love this pistol and it's performance and accuracy is amazing at this price point!

Sharps Elephant gun vs. 10mm in vaporizing cans.
มุมมอง 1194 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
In this edition of My Father's Firearms, I shoot one of my favorite guns from his collection; a Sharps rifle in .50-90 that he brought to Africa for an elephant hunt in the 80's. The rifle was built by the Classic Rifle Co. in Bend, Oregon and is just beautiful! I shot it at 55yds to get a feel for it, then shot expired canned goods because... Well, because I'm a giant 12yr old and that seemed ...

This video chronicles my Easter ride from Palouse, WA, Northeast into Idaho, and taking the beautiful Skyline Drive through McCroskey State Park. After 62 miles and three hours, I arrived back in Palouse. Great ride for a beginner rider, or there are dozens of ATV and single-track trails all over the area for more experienced riders. Gen 3 KLR 650 with V-Stream windscreen; you need this if you're a taller rider!

I've been dealing with the inadequately-sized factory windscreen for two years and finally decided to upgrade. What a difference! I'm 6'2" and can flat foot the 2022 KLR 650. So when going down the road, the wind hits me square in the upper face, even with 3D-Cycle windscreen risers. This new windscreen made a huge difference! www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/national-cycle-vstream-sport-touring-win...
P365 at 50 and 100 yards?
มุมมอง 40หลายเดือนก่อน
Ran out to the ranch to check on fencing and place a BPCR turkey silhouette target on the range. I thought it would be fun to see if I could hit the turkey at 50yds in crummy conditions, and maybe even the pig at 100yds with my little 9mm carry pistol. Really no point to the video other than I thought it was fun to try and ring steel with a carry pistol at further distances in heavy winds.
Savage 12 is getting more accurate!
มุมมอง 43หลายเดือนก่อน
I found some loose screws and the proper ammo to shrink my initial groups by quite a bit! I believe three of the scope ring screws were not tightened with one being finger tight. The rear scope base screw was not tight, and the trigger guard screws were finger tight. I also used a box of match reloads my father produced instead of his "work-up" loads for the rifle. Finally, I removed the bipod ...
10mm 5" barrel vs. 3.8" barrel velocity loss.

Savage Model 12 F-Class is inaccurate??
มุมมอง 164หลายเดือนก่อน
I inherited this rifle from my father, who was former USMC sniper, National Match Champion, and professional hunter. He told me once that this rifle was the most accurate rifle he's ever fired. He left behind the rifle and over 150 rounds of custom ammo for it. I shot it and got awful groups. What the heck is going on?

Dirty Deeds Ind. straight pipe system for 2007-2021 Tundra is awesome! Toyota Tundra, or Cuda?
มุมมอง 2612 หลายเดือนก่อน
I bought and installed the straight pipe kit from Dirty Deeds Industries on my 2021 Tundra. Due to their current sale, the entire cost was under $350. The quality is amazing, and a local shop would have charged the same for something of lesser quality and not painted. It took me about 45 minutes to install in my driveway with an air gun and hand tools. When I fired it up, I was 17 again, in a `...
My Father's Firearms: Winchester Model 52

Re-introduced in the 90's, I shoot this Miroku built Winchester Model 52 bolt-action .22lr owned by my late father. The gun was of obvious high quality and craftsmanship, and surely it was more accurate than what I was capable of. The trigger came in at a crisp and light 2lbs, and the best 5-shot group at 55yds was 1/2". Not sure if I'm going to keep this one or add it to the list of guns I don...

1877 Sharps with Freund alteration of hammer and breechblock. Lovely piece of work.
Best thing I did for my KLR. Now I put my hand up and feel the air flow going over my helmet instead of buffeting my head all over the place.
Hi, I have the same gun. Just curious exactly what site did you put on the rear? What site cut fit? I tried to put a red dot on mine and had a hard time finding an optic plate that fit the dovetail cut. I ended up doing a bunch of filing on a kimber optic plate from EGW and got it to work but it was a chore. Thanks.
I used what they call the Novak cut. The rear went in fine, but the front sight was a nightmare with lots of filing and force.
If it stops with the cartridge half chambered that is an indication that the extractor might be too tight. You can test the extractor yourself adjust the extractor yourself- search online for the process.
My understanding is that with a set trigger you can set it and get a light pull, but if you don't set it you can still shoot it just like a normal trigger (front trigger still) and get a heavier pull, maybe 5 pounds.
nice bit of land - what state ?
North Idaho.
Raise the rear sight . 🤦
Why cant reviews be done with a lot less verbage? Not picking on you directly but everyone that does videos. No one cares about the verbage except the technical stats. Having to sift through the junk to get to the good stuff is tiresome.
They make a thing called a Kleenex. Otherwise, great vid.
Overweight? LOL…..GROSSLY OBESE
Polaris is sort of like General Motors. Everybody claims to love them and will never tell you the truth. That they take all of your money
Why did you turn off the comments on the Savage F/TR video?
Not sure why... Probably some trolls.
I've seen Glocks that were better but I've also seen some that would not come close to 5" groups. I've also seen tests done with Blazer Brass and with Magtech, using a gun more accurate than the Glock, and the Magtech groups centered up to 2" from the center of the Blazer groups. I don't think this would explain the group sizes that you got but with more accurate guns you would want to sort the ammo first.
This was more of a performance review than an accuracy review. With some tailored reloads and really concentrating, I can get some awesome groups out of my pistols. The Glock 19 has gotten 1" groups and the P365 has done 2". Today's video was mostly to just see if the Ruger was functional and reasonably accurate, which it was.
@@treyveston7965 I watch your channel because you are one of the few people on youtube who actually does accuracy tests.
H 110 likes to be loaded near max. My rifle likes near max loads with H110 and 158 xtps shoots around 1700 fps.and very accurate.
Thank you for the information!

Hello sir, how can I make P80 fully automatic?
Dog died, girlfriend gone. Bad year.
Easy answer. Motor is too small.
That rack extender is a great idea I might do that on my atv
How do I do it or it’s just fits
That’s about 750 ft pounds from the 5in average and 640ft pounds with the 3.8 110 ft pound difference. Good energy but be careful with hollow points going to fast will hurt penetration for a woods load go for something more solid. Great presentation we all have off days shooting especially with unideal conditions. I like the 3.8 but with 10mm 4.5 is the sweet spot for size and energy
Talked with Keith today and now making the decision between the straight pipe or 6 inch set up. So now it’s been 3 weeks what are your thoughts on the loudness and drone? Thanks man, great video I’ve watched it 3 times lol.
I still absolutely love it around town, but I still haven't gone on a road trip with it. Nor have I had any passengers in it, so no feedback. I've gotten used to the drone on the daily 15-mile commute to work, but it still surprises me with how loud it is. I would probably upgrade to something a little quieter.
@treyveston7965 Thanks for the information. I've been on the fence, so I will probably skip the straight pipe because I feel you and I are searching for the same sound. I'll be looking between the 6 inch and 8 inch, considerably more expensive but still on sale, and it does come with the resonator. You should call Keith, he spent over 30 minutes with me on the phone it really seems like customer satisfaction is a big priority for him.
I have a D10. I mounted a Vortex Venom on it using an optic plate. Nice gun for the money.
For me, I thought the fatter slide made a difference but u still know ur shooting 40. I was using lawman 165 484 ft lb range ammo
ive heard few people talking about the brakes not being good..supposedly feels soft, is that your take?
I ended up selling my P500 for $2k more than I paid for it. Bought a new KLR 650 for commuting and weekend rides. Ended up buying a new 2024 Yamaha Kodiak 450 EPS SE ATV this past January and am loving it. I need to do some comparison videos of the new Kodiak.
That mirror in the apache box is a great idea. Good to check pockets/gear before riding.

Art's Gun Shop quoted me $250 to do his high end re-bluing to my Woodsman a few years ago. I doubt he would charge anywhere near $750 for it today. You can find his video of a similar restoration done to a severely rusted Woodsman on TH-cam.
FREEDOM!! OPPRESSION!!
I have a 1953 Superposed 12 gauge in mint condition. Once you change anything on these guns it can make a huge difference in the value, even something as small as putting a recoil pad on the back. I will never sell mine, it is my favorite gun that I own. I seriously doubt if it is worth 30K. It is a very nice gun though.
What kind of idiot rests a rifle directly on the mag tube or barrel? You Sir , are NOT qualiied to a review a rifle if YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SHOOT!!!!
I think 1.5" at 50 yards would be considered good enough for a pistol caliber levergun. I cringed before your first shot when the dog was right under the muzzle. Maybe you moved him at the right time.
Subscribed, interested as I have an older mod12 in 223 varmint with stipled wood stock. Bought used with an external adjusted scope owned by some collector who liked to buy, improve guns accuracy to the max then stuff in a safe. Used it fairly heavily in prairie dog shoots after installing leupold scope. Still shoots tight groups despite an obvious barrel irregularity felt while using cleaning rod. Think I may have had a squib and stuck bullet that required field surgery. Good luck with a great rifle
Great review! I’m thinking of doing the same exhaust on my 2020 Tundra but with the resonator.
After almost a week of daily driving, I would highly recommend the resonator. The drone at 65 and under is pretty substantial whenever there is load put on the engine. Sounds great around town!
How reliable is this pistol for you? I am getting interested in Tisas but the reviews are all over the map so I thought I would ask you how it has performed for you. Thanks.
It has been absolutely reliable with everything I've run through it. I expected maybe some issues with my 200gr Gold Dot reloads, but it loved them. Love this pistol! Everyone who has held it has been impressed with the quality.
@@treyveston7965 Great to hear, thanks for telling me this.
Not my kind of accuracy I would accept. I build my own rifles and sell custom made AR 15 & AR 10 uppers using all Pac Nor SS super match barrels for spot on accuracy. The good humor on this is at least doesn't shoot the 2 feet + groups at 100 yards a garbage rod Russian Mosin rifle does
Where did you get that sweet Camo covering?
It's my own cheesy camo job using Krylon camo and fish net.
Nice gun. A few observations: 1. The buttstock is probably not factory original. Note the difference in the checkering patterns between the buttstock and the forend. J.O'C may have had it replaced or the factory stock reworked (he did this often). 2. Most Superposed came from the factory with at least some engraving. Adding quality engraving shouldn't devalue a firearm. On a gun with this provenance it would not matter. 3. Jack was well aware of his own mortality and sold dozens of guns in the early 1970's via private sales and through Lolo Sporting Goods.
Nice job on your videos. Have been enjoying watching them. Keep up the great work. Mark
I wouldn’t rest the gun against anything……rest your hands instead.
We know what siping is on our tires in the South, ding-dong...
Your above right shoulder view didn't exactly inspire my motivation to continue watching... your banter and action seemed to stumble over each other.
Have you tried shooting off-hand? That should reduce the pain level. I’ve always wanted a 375 H&H. I’m not a hunter but I like the romance associated with the cartridge. I’ve followed a few #1’s in 375 H&H on GB. Always got distracted and never bid on one.
I gave the Ruger to my brother for Christmas. I'll pass along the tip!
