Is the Tisas D10 accurate?

I picked up a new Tisas D10 the other day and couldn't wait to take it to the range. Every video on TH-cam raves about the quality and function of this bargain 1911 in 10mm, but no one has checked the accuracy at 25 yards. I did. Sort of. Limited by medical issues and light, the initial results are mixed.

I have a theory that manufacture of a 1911 such as how things are finished, what type of parts they use, doesn't matter to accuracy unless the barrel is fit properly. If the barrel is loosely fit with respect to the various lugs then its accuracy will be somewhat random. It might give good accuracy with some loads but not others, and may not even be consistent with loads that it likes. This can affect any brand of 1911 that isn't hand fit properly. I'd like to have the ability to ransom rest test a lot of different guns to prove this theory.
I think there is also an unknown interaction of parts on plastic striker fired guns since none of them are fit properly but sometimes they can be accurate.
I agree with you that 7 yards, 10 yards shooting at steel plates is not a test of accuracy. If you want to prove that a gun is accurate then test it from a rest at 25 yards. Anything less doesn't test anything. That's like driving a sports car to the grocery store and putting a couple of bags of groceries in it to prove that it is fast.
