My Father's Firearms: My first Negligent Discharge! 1903 sniper rifle.

"ND" at 4:43... I went out to the range to honor the USMC birthday, my father, and Veteran's Day by shooting my father's 1903 Springfield WWII sniper rifle reproduction that he built for NRA matches. I bought pumpkins, Tannerite, and it was going to be awesome! Until the rifle started acting weird and then went boom without me touching the trigger.

Time for a trip to the gunsmith for that one , the kind of gunsmith that has a grey beard barrel chest, leather apron and thinks the pre 64 model 70 Winchester in 30-06 is the best rifle in North America.

It was discovered that it had a Timney trigger installed that didn't fit quite right. A stock trigger is being installed.
