Hello everyone and welcome to Mad4FrenchCars. First of all big thankyou to all of you who have been watching our videos, subscribing our channel and liking the videos we make. Channel is growing and with your help we have achieved our first 1000 subscribers in just 9 months. I would like this channel to grow even bigger and better. So we started to do a 4K videos for all the car events we will go to, starting with our last video ,,Peugeot Festival" which we have already filmed and posted in 4K. Car maintenance and mods videos will still be posted every week it will be recorded in 1080px720p 60 fps. Hi, great video. I have a 508 and was fault alerts and service light coming and going for months, this started after leaving car parked for 6 weeks and I fear battery voltage and ecu have played a part. Although the car started fine when I returned from holidays. Recently the fault alert comes in every time engine starts and service light stays on all the time. My Obd2 shows no faults but this week car displayed a gearbox warning fault before going away again. Could this simply be the battery being low and the ecu registering a gearbox fault that just needs clearing. Car runs perfectly and gearbox smooth. Sorry for the detail but thought I would seek your experience. Regards Craig (Australia)

Hi, i have citroen c4 picasso 2.0 hdi 2008 semiautomatic and this stored errors P0337, U1213, P1755, P1712, U1208, U1118, U2001, what could it be? what checks should i start with?
You should have changed the membrane and the rocker cover spring at the same time, because it sometimes tears and this causes oil loss on the engine and on injector number 1. People then think that it is the number 1 injector that is leaking, when it is the membrane that is torn.
It is best to grease the black seal before inserting it around the injector well. this is to facilitate its insertion in the correct position

@@ibdark hello the one in a tank should be accessible from under the rear seats once a seat is lifted. All connections has to be unplugged and then it has to be undone and yes it will be some air in a system after replacement so i would air it out really well using this video. I think first thing i would do is i would disconnct a fuel supply to fuel filter and take a small 5 litre canister or something and prime fuel in to it until it goes without air then its should be fine connected to fuel filter if there is more air in a system you can do a whole thing like in a video

@@Mad4FrenchCars Hello, so I just came back from the car, and I have a small dilemma, there is no pump in the tank, it's just the sender unit (floater). The pump I ordered has the actual electrical pump inside the sender unit. The one in the car just has 2 pins for the fuel gauge and that's it. I read somewhere that it might not have a low pressure fuel pump ? could that be the case ? or is it somewhere else along the fuel circuit. As it stands the car works, but I need to go on a longer trip this weekend and I`m afraid it might die on me again. Any insights would be greatly appreciated

Today I noticed the solenoid connecting to EGR had snapped at the base of the vac hose anyway. Taped it up and blocked the vac line egr actuation so hopefully it doesn't muck up inside. No codes yet from blocking that. Will put plate in next 🤞

I'd recommend tightening the rocket cover evenly and In the recommend sequence. This type of car would be 13Nm torque. Also while the injectors are out it's an idea to clean inside the bore and use a cutter to make a perfect seal with the copper ring 👍

Very useful video. I've somehow (stupidly) managed to drop a piece of small circle shaped foam / plastic cap liner into the oil tank. Do you know what the easiest way is to get stuff out of the oil tank? I can't see it when I look into the tank.
Warning! You used the same old bolts to secure the injectors. You should always use new bolts, bacause the old ones can never reach the correct torque. I also noticed you didnt use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts. But apart from that, the filming and commentery was brilliantly done. Thank you so much. Regards Mark.

I noticed the crankshaft sprocket is loose around the crankshaft. The notch is 3 mm wider than the spline. See at 1:07:50 the sprocket is moved back and forth. Can this not cause a problem if not put back the same way?
