- Hello everyone I have made a second and final part on Faulty Parking Assistance. In this video you will see me replacing Parking ECU module, replacing parking ECU module connector, activating audible parking assistance warning and also discovering and activating a visual parking assistance. I hope you guys will find this video interasting to watch and also find it help full in your faulty parking assistance quest if you experience one.
I would like to share one more time the location of the a Driving assistance menu in Diagbox where you can turn on or of a parking assistance and also audible warning for parking assistance. So after scanning a car with Diagbox under the Repair section you Press BSI ----} Press |Configuration----} Press Manual Configuration ----} Press Vehicle Configuration ----} Press Driving Assistance and you will end up in a menu where you can adjust it.

Had a problem with two left rear sensors not working on my 2008 407.Decided to have a look at the parking ecu,i was absolutely shocked when i lifted up the boot/trunk floor there was about 3 inches of water in the spare wheel well!!!
I dried out everything but it still didn't work,however after driving for 2 days it dried itself out and the sensors started working!! :-)
I was so close to ordering a new parking ecu!

Great job mate, happy to see it's working. I actually noticed that it has different sounds for the sensors in the front and in the rear. I haven't noticed that in my car I need to go and have a listen now I`m curious haha.
Thank you mate, I didn't notice either but now I am going to check lol. I was so distracted with parking assistance starting to work that I didn't really pay attention to the sound of the sensors but you mention it now and I think you right it was different sound for front and rear.
It has different sounds most likely because the audio plays through the speaker which has the obstruction, i.e front left obstruction will play through front left speaker!

I have the same problem with the module and the cables. I can't see the original jack in the video, it looks like two wires have come out. and is the black jack for the front parking sensors because I have the error that my two front side sensors are not working. Thanks
hello, I have a peso 308 2010, it only has rear parking sensors, I checked all sensors with a unimeter, the cables are good, when I put it in reverse, it immediately gave an error, parking assist faulty what else can I look at or buy another pdc. thanks
Hi! I have a 407 HDI Sr Sport that doesn't have parking assistance. Do you know if i can install an original one? I mean, i would have timo buy everything, but would the BSI support it? Thank you!
Hi buddy, I had all 8 parking sensors flash up on diognostic after head unit went black and fault code for sensors came up. so I deleted codes but the head unit/screen has gone black again but this time fault came up with communication to telematics. When I uolug the battery and plug it back on it all comes back for a day or two. Any ideas on this please
My rear parking work fine but front does not work at all.. Already changed all sensor but still no different

@@Mad4FrenchCars thanks mate, will try it out. My screen is gone as well. No display or what so ever and blower fan not working either. Checked all the fuses but no luck yet 😕
Do you know if this it is possible to acess the diagbox if you use a OBD II via bluetooth?
I have never tried that method mate so i wouldnt have a clue to be fair?
My problem is:
I have a 508. Checked all the sensors and it gave a ticking sound. The indicator to turn it on and off constantly gives light(like it is turned off..). Tried buying a new module. It doesnt looks like it is the completly same... But after unplugging and replugging the back sensors it works for 1 seconds some times... do you have any solution i could try?😅
@@mortisthor8607 could be few different things it might be some minor damage on a parking sensor loom and it shortens sometimes or it could be faulty module. Has to be same part number to work properly.

Hi mate! first of all I wanna thank you for such Amazing video . I have te same problem with my car. I get FBD0 code "rear parking assistant buzzer fault" . I think is a configuration problem, Im trying to set the configuration at the BSI like you did it but I get an error while I'm doing it. I guess I have a problem in AAS module configuration , could you share please how is your configuration at ASS MODULE ? THANKS IN ADVANCE FRIEND!!!
Hi mate I would love to help but I don't have a 407 anymore I drive 508 sw now and currently nowhere near home and theyr parking module is different aswell.

Hi mate the software is called Diagbox you can get it from ebay. I can give a link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164447858633 that's just one out of many on ebay. You get 2 CDs and cables and then just install on a laptop with Windows xp or 7 I use it on Windows 10 but some people struggle to get it working on Windows 10. It's really good software allows you to do prity much anything on any citroen, ds or Peugeot.

Yes it does also it's digital surround so which ever place get closer to opsticle that side of the cabin beep
@@Mad4FrenchCars so you have rt3 radio? Mine does no beep sound even on Lexia everything is done right ,maybe you have manual of radio and Can share wiring diagram ?
@@martinsjarosko3568 hi mate I don't have no manual for it originally the car had RNEG unit which was faulty so I had a good rt3 and installed it instead it was straight swap.

Hi, in my case they work but not correctly, they only do it about to collide with the fast intermittent beep at the end and the fixed beep, but not the beeps that gradually increase in speed. Do you know how to solve it?
Hello mate not sure why would it behave like that. You might be able to recalibrate them using Diagbox.

@@javierabad01 I am not 100% sure but it should be somewhere under manual configuration section. i cant have a look at the moment but i will try to have a look then i can.
