I know this is coming in late, but with the fiscal year at my company closing up, I've been too busy to be home long enough to even play this in the background until yesterday. I still wanted to congratulate you for the monumental task that I can only imagine this video must have been. You have absolutely nailed it! If this isn't your best video (which in and of itself implies a very high bar), it's most certainly up there. That said, I did want to add an alternative for the dancers that you didn't mention: Shadow Shift. I have been using Crux on my mythic dancers since it was first introduced because it was a good way for Ike to get around Miracle but, since then, NFU has spread out a little bit more (not to mention Freyr hands out Resonance Shield) to the point that I feel the value of Crux has been dropped a bit, or at the very least has become situational depending on the tank you're using. Enter Shadow Shift. This skill has been an absolute gamechanger for my mythic dancers. Pair that with the Sigurd ring and Soaring Echo (I just tank with either Ike or A! Caeda so I can afford to drop Gentle Dream+), and you have an absolute mobility goddess of a dancer that can enable plays that you otherwise wouldn't be able to pull off. It helps you get everybody in position in turn 1, and it helps a hell of a lot with pots. If you haven't tried it, I strongly suggest you do. I dread the day that I'm forced to go back to Gentle Dream+ on Peony.

Damn, i picked up this game a couple of weeks ago and it's interesting to see that some things you suggested there have been implemented - unnecessary fishing for score (with the bonus legendaries) - free 4*SR summon for the 5th win reward The free 4*SR is really was big incentive to start/continue playing arena for me

L! Sigurd did good against her certainly would try another battle with premium skills of the meta (Aide Dagr counter her with the silly chance of tri adept)

I think Legendary Fae needs to have -1 max special cooldown on weapon refine so it combos well with Dragon's Scales (b-skill) & Time's pulse (c-skill/x-skill), as well as Marth engage ring (another -1 special max cooldown). What i'm saying is the miracle special is unfortunately underwhelming rn and instead being able to trigger Dragon Roar special as guaranteed damage reduction is worth much more in my opinion especially with her bad defensive stats. Unless... they go another route and give Legendary Fae a double-hit effect where she can damage twice before the enemy can counterattack, in which she can bypass her lack of defences by K.O(ing) the enemy first.

Can we get an emote of Joel as George RR Martin, spirit as butters, & Joel reassuring Spirit that dragons/pizza (aka Jackbox) is coming?

If going for an offensive/AoE build for Lyn, what would be better: momentum or spd/def tempo?

Does Shield Fighter work with armored blaze? I always thought it doesn't, like Hardy Fighter doesn't work with Armored specials, I am confused...

Wonder if it would be worth it to just skip B!edelgard/y!Hector formas and wait for ice fjorm to rerun. We're getting a double special heroes this month so I wonder if she will be on that banner.. I already have a +10 Marni for arena and would prefer to use her as a shield fighter save tank, as her weapon is better than both of theirs.

They cooked too hard with this HoF, announcing it right before the end of the CYL4 HoF revival. Not spending a soul on them now lol

Sorry, all. For Lyn’s build, don’t combine Laguz Friend & Gust. Since she has slaying, it drops gust to 2 cooldown and you don’t get the full effect out of LF4. It’s still a good skill to pick up for her, but most likely, you’re sticking with godlike reflexes.

i not that sure about Shadow Shift with Eliwood (unless we are giving him Sigurd ring), im thinking of as an alternative to his PRF maybe going for Breath of Life 4? i dunno if i will be replacing his PRF anyway but if im making him a full support unit i think that it would be good.

I'm personally going for player phase skills for my Lyn since she already has LF4 (and tanking skills) from my fodder factories, momentum being the main skill I want to get her.

So while I agree with everyone saying Laguz Friend 4 doesnt work on Lyn with Gust (Noticed the same thing on the Mythic video with Laguz Friend 4 Dragons Roar Seiros), but consider getting Gust any in the Hall of Forms in case you want to run it with a different B skill because she comes with GLR. You want max value out of your formas so pick up Gust in case ir comes more relevent

10:24 what is meant by 'grab bag'? can't you not fodder HoFs units for their skills? So getting Lyn (or any forma) with firm canto curb means its locked to that forma, right?

While I am sad that there is no L!Ninian, they could have added L!Eliwood, N!Lyn, or Bramimond. But for whatever reason, IS decided no fun allowed. 😑

Lyn with Gust+Laguz Friend 4 is like running Emblem Ike with Marth ring

Lyn best options is to keep her her special and Prf A Skill but definitely consider giving her something new like new Quarter Atk/Spd Excel just in case being more offensive happens to be better in the future as for B Skill i think that Buffer or LF4 are the best Picks as for C Skill Creation Pulse is nice but needs support so i suggest Endless Tempest Pulse Up : Blades but Atk/Spd Pledge is a more coherent option you could definitely give her Breath of Life 4 if you want her to survive but you are sacrificing Spd Personally I Suggest have Lyn the way she is supposed to fanction regardless if it a Meta Build or not for go for Buffer 4 and Endless Tempest and give Emblem Ike Effect and make her work a Defensive Offense build but run her with an Near Save and a Breath of Life 4 support and she is going to be fine and get Kills don't try to make her a one unit army not even felix can accomplish that and let's be real Emblem Sigurd [Gallop] powercreep is Temporary

Something is hella goofy with these calcs. Felix outspends Lyn by a mile, ntm she isn’t getting Laguz friend active. Lucina dealing less damage than Bernie? Igrene killing through Shield Fighter AND BoL4? I’m fairly certain these calcs don’t account for Bonuses or Movement. If I’m right please let others know

Why is bro running Marth Ring with Curved Shot 😭. Also I get for defense that Lucina won’t fully benefit from her kit but cmon, seeing Bernie deal more damage is hilarious.

I am as strongly disappointed as you are that we didn't get L!Ninian in Hall of Forms this month, Joel... While it did leave me open to grab both L!Lilina and L!Fae from last month, it's still a bitter pill to swallow, as a huge fan of Ninian (both as a unit and as a character). I suppose I'll be grabbing Young Eliwood, since I don't have him yet, and I would love to build him up; I'm probably going for a more combat oriented build than you are, though.

Wait what? Flame Tribe Lyn came back? Ohhh i could get her, i am so excited to build her and try her out on how she's good wifh Gust skill, which I know that she's not a Mystic or a Legendary type but still i havs 2 forma souls left, uh yeah i might aim for her build i think this is my only chance to upgrade Flame Tribe Lyn even with a greater skills. Thank you Fehology for the notices/news about the incoming HOF. :)

so i’m interested to know if the sims for lyn were made of the exact build on her because if so, laguz friend is essentially doing nothing because she has gust and therefore a special that is less than 3 cooldown after her slaying effect. if the sims were done with godlike reflexes in mind, then that’s a different story. just curious because perhaps you’d be getting different results.

I was hoping L!Eliwood, Hector, and Ninian would show up. But the fact that none of them showed up is crushing. Going for Eliwood first, Hector second. Edit: Also the fact that we have been getting Legendaries and Mythics every HoF until now, FE7 gets nothing makes me very sad. Probably would have spent a forma on one mythic/legendary guaranteed if any showed up.

Going for Y!Eliwood and I had completely forgot about A/S Link 4. I might go for it

The Slaying/Laguz Friend 4 trap strikes again; Lyn's LF4 is incompatible with Gust because of her lance's accelerated cooldown. Honestly, this has been a recurring problem since inheriting Dragon's Roar to Brave Tiki; I.S. needs to start churning out some new 4-cooldown specials.

Lyn looks bad because the build being shown sucks. Gust and Laguz Friend do NOT combo well together because of Lyn's Prf weapon putting Gust (a combat damage special since it requires Glimmer learned) down to 2 CD. Laguz Friend 4 only works with defense specials (like Godlike Reflexes or Aegis) and combat specials that have at least 3 CD (so for the case of Lyn, she'd want Dragon Fang or Aether with Marth ring).

Thanks for the sims with Y!Hector! I was worried about whether or not Y!Hector forma was better than B!Edelgard forma without any prior investment in either, but that E!Sigurd matchup really hurts. Maybe he'll get a good refine, but it'll probably take a good while until it comes out.

Huh, i have a +6 flame lyn thats uber invested into with an ascended florette and then this comes out. Thats funny. Ill use my forma soul to get her the Frontline build I think, i already have Laguz friend so that should be open to other skills.

Despite attuned caeda being a thing I believe Flame tribe lyn is still worth getting.

bruh they wouldnt bring duo mark so they can have a kids themed HoF with the complete young trio lords and the avatar just because that unit would be too broken with the recent skills ig lol

Great video❤, correct me if I'm wrong: I don't think Gust is a good option for her. With the slaying effect on her weapon, LF4 won't have a good synergy with the special. Personally I'm goona go with BoL4, BDDC, Godlike R, and LF4.

I think you're really sleeping on loki like a lot of people are. Maybe it's just me but shes the bane of light season for me, her bonus removes is super frustrating for all strats (removing movement on duo sharena for galeforce, essence drain on nergal and co for hit and run/tank, gotoh aoe reduction for pure tank) and her gravity is also incredibly annoying and basically wastes one units action or forces you to put an armour unit in that row. I stand by her being S tier, A tier lowest, and definitely the best in dark until we get Nidhogger or treeman, whichever IS chooses to be a dark mythic. Edit: also for reference of her offensive capability, she can kill (base kit) emblem ike. Sure thats no longer the claim it once was, but for a primarily support/disruption unit that's insane.
