It's almost like galeforce is a bad special in an environment where units need specials to KILL good, well built defensive cores.. crazy! Honestly, I'm happy teams like these exist and help people realize that no, galeforce isn't good anymore, and it hasn't been for a really, really long fucking time. Every since ascended fjorm, a well built defensive team simply WILL NOT allow galeforce to win. If you're beating someone with a galeforce team, you're only beating them because they're ass at team building. Galeforce on units like Brave chrom and ESPECIALLY brave felix is really fucking stupid. With an offensive special, they just kill anyway, meamwhile with galeforce they usually need their extra galeforce action to finish off an opponent they would've killed with an offensive special. Brave felix goes in with an offensive special, nukes two enemies. Fools (like this guy) who give him galeforce go in.. fail to kill round one, then kill round two, and fail to kill a second unit with the third action. I thought Fallen Edelgard failing to kill actually good units when you gave her galeforce made this crystal clear, but apparently people are still coping this strategy and using it. If you're fighting a good defensive core with galeforce, Brave felix will: Attack once, fail to kill. Attack again, fail to kill, probably die. And if he doesn't? He does for sure on his third round of combat. Fehology is the type of special person to put galeforce on emblem sigurd.. I swear, these units COME with a good kit these days. Don't ruin it with some stupid gimmick strategy that doesn't work against an actual team.

Now after seeing all the reviews or first impressions of the banner, I just love how big the range of impression is with Claude….reaching from Oblivion that calls Claude bonkers, doing all things and Attest him the biggest longevity, over PM1 that calls Claude the sleeper good unit, to DTM that glances just over him to you that attest Claude the shortest longevity and is really undecided about him to Tacho that I think was kinda bashing Claude altogether. XDD

I think this video will definitely get people on the right track but I think it the choke points that need to be circumvented could be highlighted a little bit more instead of just supplying the solution the video provides. The lilina build for example might fail in practice if they run into a nidhoggr that runs hardy bearing seal. It works only because lilina has both desperation and brave and she is only close to dealing damage on the third hit because both sturdy beast procs had happened. The same thing with the saber example. Saber only had enough damage from the reflect because of his brave hits, which triggered both instances of sturdy beast DR.

I also think Ronan deserves to be mentioned here. We recently got Ronan's weapon refine which let's him substitute his attack for 150% of his res when his special triggers. This damage is not counted as true damage and therefore will be multiplied with astra. This enables him to shoot through nidhoggrs even when they trigger both Ike ring and sturdy beast. Also his res is not reduced by nidhoggrs atk/Def infliction, negating one of her layers of defense entirely.

Nah, edelgard is definitely the star of thia banner. Rheas an absolute tank and all, but edelgard kills everyone and is half as tanky.

IS release a survey to improove the game then drop the most toxic, braindead and powercreep ever lol. Classic IS fail. XD

Another thing that I believe you forgot to mention was that Rhea actually gets another Scowl in her preferred B skill. So that is double Scowl. I am assuming that is trying to combat the insane amounts of special jumps we have in the game at the moment. Not sure how well it will do though. But it is definitely better than a single Scowl.

The only thing i summon for is Emblem units. Every other banner is a skip

IS saw this video and was like “ok now make a rhea version”.

My incredibly smart commenters brought up that Edelgard’s weapon has the same wording as Fogado. That means she does stop defensive specials. It doesn’t change her Galeforce ranking, but it does out her up in T0 for the melee nukes, although she’ll have less value in SD because you’ll have to take another action. Overall, a very powerful banner

I have big gripes with this banner despite being a 3H fan, but I think I like where these four are at power-wise. They seem fun, but not broken (and we’ve had enough of that recently) and aside from Rhea, I think they’ll see the most use in AR-O. EDIT: WAIT Brigid negates Rhea’s Miracle. She has Feud! I knew I was right to love her.

At this point I don’t even bother reading these weapon descriptions anymore I see the trailer and go :”I’m sure Joel can explain better than I can read it.”😅 It’s solid skip for me, honestly I don’t hate three houses but this is just ridiculous I feel like there’s someone at IS who looks at the previous three houses banner a says to themselves: “How can we make these characters even more complex and stupid than they already are.”😭 Mate this game is just crazy now.😐💀

I don't think the point of vantage is to let Claude kill in oneshot (although it certainly can have that effect on frailer units), but to increase his survivability by ensuring that he gets off a curved shot before he's hit, giving him 3 layers of DR. Plus with most 100% piercing still tied to special activation and his scowl, it means that most of the time he'll be facing something like 50% DR piercing at most. So between the curved shot %DR and the remaining Deep Star DR, it'd be like 70% DR + his 20% speed flat DR. Imo IS took away some of his killing potential because what they yet again really wanted was for him to be a mixed phase unit.

Definitely summoning! I need a good near savior like Duo Rhea! And the other units seem pretty good too 👍
