as someone who has been forced by fate to use freyja as a core mythic, I've found her strongest set to be a/s wild with beast threaten. combined with a marth ring this allows her to one tap galeforce, and also provides some minor support. her buff stealing has seen an interesting resurgence in value as well thanks to so many units coming with automatic blue buffs nowadays. I'd like to get her that new special off the harpy lady but if I ever get a dupe of her it's going to my +10 embla first and foremost.
Liking and commenting just for sheer effort! Ive played two years and while I have a few duplicates, im hesitant to merge them because spare fodder is so hard to come across. I coast in Bronze/Silver and thats enough for me, but do wish they'd make it easier to get some mythicd, especially the older ones
My favorite mythic is definitely Thorr. I don't know why but I really like her (very sparse) characterization and fepiction in feh. Plus she was part of the first green dream, the banner that completely changed my account's trajectory and made me wish to tske feh more seriously.

I know this is coming in late, but with the fiscal year at my company closing up, I've been too busy to be home long enough to even play this in the background until yesterday. I still wanted to congratulate you for the monumental task that I can only imagine this video must have been. You have absolutely nailed it! If this isn't your best video (which in and of itself implies a very high bar), it's most certainly up there. That said, I did want to add an alternative for the dancers that you didn't mention: Shadow Shift. I have been using Crux on my mythic dancers since it was first introduced because it was a good way for Ike to get around Miracle but, since then, NFU has spread out a little bit more (not to mention Freyr hands out Resonance Shield) to the point that I feel the value of Crux has been dropped a bit, or at the very least has become situational depending on the tank you're using. Enter Shadow Shift. This skill has been an absolute gamechanger for my mythic dancers. Pair that with the Sigurd ring and Soaring Echo (I just tank with either Ike or A! Caeda so I can afford to drop Gentle Dream+), and you have an absolute mobility goddess of a dancer that can enable plays that you otherwise wouldn't be able to pull off. It helps you get everybody in position in turn 1, and it helps a hell of a lot with pots. If you haven't tried it, I strongly suggest you do. I dread the day that I'm forced to go back to Gentle Dream+ on Peony.

RE: Hraesvelgr I tried her as a Galeforce initiator this past week. Her value will likely go up as more counters to Shield Fighter get added or found (which was, so far, the one thing she struggled with) and as buff stealing becomes more common, since the stolen buffs of her allies adds tons of true damage to her weapon. Massive thanks for this video. ❤ I particularly appreciate the updated look at some older mythics like Elimine that haven’t been in any kind of discussion for a while.

Think Hraesvelgr is being a bit disrespected. Again, I think the fact that the weapon [penalties] are what they are is incredibly important in the context of dark season, and bridal embla being a unit. Dark defenses are just not built with this degree of penalty stacking in mind, so the fact you get a galeforcer who enables undefended to go through with 1 skill slot is incredible. It's also pretty easy to speed stack her to match felix both of them can get the cooldown from embla, meaning with marth Hraesvelgr just becomes a one tap that much easier. I've gotten around to testing the potent variants and I don't think it's unreasonable to have her be an effective initiator either whenever you can't stick undefended, as I've had her able to defeat shield fighter near saves shy of Marni because nobody on my friend list is running that unit. While this is very much a "me specifically" perk, giving freyja and Nerthuz 4 mov has also been very useful. Recently gave ninja lucina's kit to freyja and not having to commit an emblem to freyja to get all of that value has been incredible for positioning myself to open up teams. I've just generally had a great experience using her so far, and I get the impression of "jack of all trades master of one" because her damage is just completely absurd so if she isn't a master at that idk who is. Given the criteria of the tiers I feel like B should've been a minimum.
100% agree. Potent + Astra Hresvelgr is the single best nuke in the game (Better than Ninja Lucina). Id rather had her at +10 than some of the B Tier units
Have you not considered running Yune with the new spd/res discord skill from R!Marianne? By getting that (and pretty much the rest of her stuff tbh) she can essentially become A!Micaiah lite which is still really good for role compression and has def made my impression of her a bit higher for today standards in the meta.
All time? Probably Eir just for the nostalgia. Making her into an omnitank was one of the funniest things to do in this game. Then Eir-Force came along was also ridiculously funny. How do you not love a unit like that?

Arguably the worst thing about Sothis along with… everything else about her as a unit; she’s advertised as a starter support package. You can spend money (and as a starter support package advertised for new players people can fall in the trap) for one of the worst mythics in the game.
I’ve got a +10 Ashera and she does SO well! C bonus doubler, laguz friend, and orders restraint +, with Flare. She tanks the hits and hits back harder with so many visible stats! I love her! I even run her in light season even though that’s not very optimal lol her remix was so good!
+10ing Heidr has made my life so much easier. I hope I'll be able to do the same with Gotoh (my favorite Light mythic) eventually! Also keeping my fingers crossed for Medeus' remix in a few months.
From August 2023 until August 2024, Freyja was my main carry during Light and Chaos. I was using a Miracle loop build with Gatekeeper support, Atk/Spd Wild, Fatal Smoke 4 and Mystic Boost. She outsped everyone at the point, kept healing and when someone got her, miracle activates. When E!Ike showed up, I needed to use another unit to defeat him hahahahaha But now Felix just obliterates her in one hit, so it's not viable anymore 😞 For Eikþyrnir, I'm using a similar strategy, but him ABSOLUTELY destroys Astra. If you give him Pavise + Emblem Marth, Gatekeeper and Duo Fjorm, there's literally NO ONE who can touch him (unless you get panic'ed mid turn) or you can lose by some stall teams. It's beautiful. I recommend you to try it someday!!

Last season i only used this team, absolute monster You can also try a lot of things on him, like Breath of Life for more support, Wild/Momentum/Shadow Shift/WoM Echo for Galeforce, Sturdy Beast instead of Fierce Beast, Omnitank with Fallen Lumera and Fortifications... With high end investments, he can reach 97 visible attack, so AoE is also amazing for him The only thing he's missing right now for true greatness is the Crystalline Water version of Solid Ground, but outside that he's just amazing both as a support and as a carry

I think you are right, dass Peony and Plumeria would be an amazing investment, cause the will never grow old, but I have one big problem with that: I hate them both as characters so damn much, so that I don't want to spent orbs for merges, exception if I want copies of the other unit they are sharing with. What I have done at least, I think I spent two Binding World things for them, to get their kits upgraded at least. ^^' But to be fair, I am not highly competitive anyway, going up to VoH every second week is enough for me. So I also only have on +10 Mythic: Eir, which took me 'till the middle of this year to finally finish her. But I love Eir, so every orb (and the very long wait) was worth it. And I have a half merged Heidr, not because I like her as a character, but I just LOVE to use her as a unit, thats why she has become a staple on my Astra teams and I hope to +10 her over time. Other offense Mythics I would consider merging, cause I like them for some reason are Ash (hopefully she gets a good remix and refine, so far I was barely convinced by the free Mythic refines/remixes sadly), Dagr (but I don't really have a feeling for using her really, but she is one of my fav OCs) and Veyle (just like her, despite her support went down a bit) and MAYBE Ratatoskr to a certain extend.
I think you're really sleeping on loki like a lot of people are. Maybe it's just me but shes the bane of light season for me, her bonus removes is super frustrating for all strats (removing movement on duo sharena for galeforce, essence drain on nergal and co for hit and run/tank, gotoh aoe reduction for pure tank) and her gravity is also incredibly annoying and basically wastes one units action or forces you to put an armour unit in that row. I stand by her being S tier, A tier lowest, and definitely the best in dark until we get Nidhogger or treeman, whichever IS chooses to be a dark mythic. Edit: also for reference of her offensive capability, she can kill (base kit) emblem ike. Sure thats no longer the claim it once was, but for a primarily support/disruption unit that's insane.
Glad to see elimines comeback. Somehow I just got really lucky on her debut and first few returns, so shes +5 without even trying so I've had her for score, even all throughout freyrs reign. I'm excited for her remix, and I don't think I'll +10 her but +5 will always be among the highest scoring mythics I have so thats just fine. I hope she gets super guidance and some other effects in her remix like thorr, and then for skill i have a feeling she'll just get a wrathful b skill but I'd prefer if it was a premium healer special or maybe that movement skill that lets them act again after healing.
Hard agree on Elimine. In the last anima season, I noticed some teams didn't use Freyr and so I made one team with Elimine in it again. Even though Heiðrún activates in both player and enemy phase, you can still shut off her Divine Nectar for your enemy phase which has been super helpful. As well as shutting off brave female Robin's hush spectrum has been a godsend for omni tank Halloween Askr.
I think Hel does very well with Wyvern Rift and Atk/Spd Clash to deny follow up attacks from really fast opponents. Give her Sigurd ring so she retreats and becomes super annoying to lock down.
My Hel build that’s been nothing short of fun is Atk/Spd excel, Wyve r rift, and inevitable death with no guard. The true damage and true damage reduction and most times no follow up make her last forever 😅
I'm surprised embla is in b tier. Undefended + feud is such a strong combo, especially right now with saves being back in the meta thanks to shield fighter. Probably not S tier, but definitely a tier currently.
15:00 xD There she is Hello, um, Fehology, i am glad to see you back. if I tell you my honesty, i like Mystic Altina it's because she's highly invested also she has great skills such as like Guard Bearing 4 on my Mystic Altina, but i am planning to give my Thorr an Potent 4 so that way she can hit it 3x at most or 5x depending on my luck, also great reviews about Mystic units, I already refined her and she's really amazing as a warping unit or in case tanking hits from harder enemies, i also like Hraesvelgr as my Mystic Bird she seems absolutely cute and adorable, so yeah these are my top 3's of favorites.
You put Seiros in D Tier!!! Maybe we don’t play the same game. She’s my best unit, takes out Ike no problem, supports all the other mythic, has access to high dragon wall, is literally the best mythic in the game in my opinion.

I think Seidr outlived her sister Heidr, Seidr is god in galeforce(and at least better than Heidr in tanking strats), especially since turn 1 agression is getting more and more common in AR too and Heidr does basically nothing till is too late, I have my Seidr paired with BEmbla and an AoE build, it's amazing to have fa unit who can basically take away 3 or even 4 units in one turn, Heidr is good but the turn mechanic is such a nuisance and her effects are starting to age. Yeah, I have basically that same Mila, slightly different ofc but the idea is the same, and yeah, I was never a huge fan of Askr, the only reason he's considered good is because light mythics are awful in general, pulsing was anything but rare even back then when he appeared. Anyway, incredible list, I commend your dedication.

Im rather sensetiv regarding my hearing so especially the shrill tones of the theme around the 2 hour 9 minute mark hurt a bit. Hey! I take music very seriously, and always appreciate the heads up on stuff like this. Can I ask what device you’re listening on? I test the music on an iPhone with headphones, iPhone without headphones, television, and car stereo. It’s also run through a 100 Hz scoop to decrease interference with any vocals and compressed to get rid of anything sharp. I’m not saying this to contradict you, but to drive home how seriously I take it. Any more info you could give would be helpful.

I use a +10 Sothis in arena during dark season. Bonus doubler 4, counter roar 4, and a/s pledge. It ain't much but it's honest work.

But to be fair, I am not highly competitive anyway, going up to VoH every second week is enough for me. So I also only have on +10 Mythic: Eir, which took me 'till the middle of this year to finally finish her. But I love Eir, so every orb (and the very long wait) was worth it.
And I have a half merged Heidr, not because I like her as a character, but I just LOVE to use her as a unit, thats why she has become a staple on my Astra teams and I hope to +10 her over time.
Other offense Mythics I would consider merging, cause I like them for some reason are Ash (hopefully she gets a good remix and refine, so far I was barely convinced by the free Mythic refines/remixes sadly), Dagr (but I don't really have a feeling for using her really, but she is one of my fav OCs) and Veyle (just like her, despite her support went down a bit) and MAYBE Ratatoskr to a certain extend.

I think you're really sleeping on loki like a lot of people are. Maybe it's just me but shes the bane of light season for me, her bonus removes is super frustrating for all strats (removing movement on duo sharena for galeforce, essence drain on nergal and co for hit and run/tank, gotoh aoe reduction for pure tank) and her gravity is also incredibly annoying and basically wastes one units action or forces you to put an armour unit in that row. I stand by her being S tier, A tier lowest, and definitely the best in dark until we get Nidhogger or treeman, whichever IS chooses to be a dark mythic.
Edit: also for reference of her offensive capability, she can kill (base kit) emblem ike. Sure thats no longer the claim it once was, but for a primarily support/disruption unit that's insane.
Glad to see elimines comeback. Somehow I just got really lucky on her debut and first few returns, so shes +5 without even trying so I've had her for score, even all throughout freyrs reign. I'm excited for her remix, and I don't think I'll +10 her but +5 will always be among the highest scoring mythics I have so thats just fine. I hope she gets super guidance and some other effects in her remix like thorr, and then for skill i have a feeling she'll just get a wrathful b skill but I'd prefer if it was a premium healer special or maybe that movement skill that lets them act again after healing.
Hard agree on Elimine. In the last anima season, I noticed some teams didn't use Freyr and so I made one team with Elimine in it again. Even though Heiðrún activates in both player and enemy phase, you can still shut off her Divine Nectar for your enemy phase which has been super helpful. As well as shutting off brave female Robin's hush spectrum has been a godsend for omni tank Halloween Askr.
I think Hel does very well with Wyvern Rift and Atk/Spd Clash to deny follow up attacks from really fast opponents. Give her Sigurd ring so she retreats and becomes super annoying to lock down.

My Hel build that’s been nothing short of fun is Atk/Spd excel, Wyve r rift, and inevitable death with no guard. The true damage and true damage reduction and most times no follow up make her last forever 😅

15:00 xD There she is Hello, um, Fehology, i am glad to see you back. if I tell you my honesty, i like Mystic Altina it's because she's highly invested also she has great skills such as like Guard Bearing 4 on my Mystic Altina, but i am planning to give my Thorr an Potent 4 so that way she can hit it 3x at most or 5x depending on my luck, also great reviews about Mystic units, I already refined her and she's really amazing as a warping unit or in case tanking hits from harder enemies, i also like Hraesvelgr as my Mystic Bird she seems absolutely cute and adorable, so yeah these are my top 3's of favorites.
You put Seiros in D Tier!!! Maybe we don’t play the same game. She’s my best unit, takes out Ike no problem, supports all the other mythic, has access to high dragon wall, is literally the best mythic in the game in my opinion.
I still regret the decision to have never invested into Peony. Would have helped me quite a bit looking back

I think Seidr outlived her sister Heidr, Seidr is god in galeforce(and at least better than Heidr in tanking strats), especially since turn 1 agression is getting more and more common in AR too and Heidr does basically nothing till is too late, I have my Seidr paired with BEmbla and an AoE build, it's amazing to have fa unit who can basically take away 3 or even 4 units in one turn, Heidr is good but the turn mechanic is such a nuisance and her effects are starting to age.
Yeah, I have basically that same Mila, slightly different ofc but the idea is the same, and yeah, I was never a huge fan of Askr, the only reason he's considered good is because light mythics are awful in general, pulsing was anything but rare even back then when he appeared.
Anyway, incredible list, I commend your dedication.
I feel most offensive Mythics should be defensive, and most defensive Mythics should be offensive. They sometimes design these units quite weirdly

Hey! I take music very seriously, and always appreciate the heads up on stuff like this. Can I ask what device you’re listening on? I test the music on an iPhone with headphones, iPhone without headphones, television, and car stereo. It’s also run through a 100 Hz scoop to decrease interference with any vocals and compressed to get rid of anything sharp. I’m not saying this to contradict you, but to drive home how seriously I take it. Any more info you could give would be helpful.
