I'll personally be giving my votes to Emblyn. Busted unit, busted ring, great fodder too (+ her 1st run was bad timing for me in the holiday season), so I'd love her on a better banner than b8%s
Voting for Timerra. I need her X skill. No AHR winner will ever be as good as Peony who was super useful to all types of players, to the point where team Dimitri threw to let her win. I'm fairly pessimistic on this AHR but at the minimum, my fingers are crossed for Lyn or Sigurd since I can use Lyn's fodder and I foddered Sigurd for Momentum before I read his emblem effect.
I will vote Hector. I don't have him and is royaly stupid strong in some teams and has phenomenal fodder. Thank you so much for this great tier list btw! Hopefully this makes the community make better choices on who to pick!
There are a bunch of good units that could win this year. Main thing is a good colour share to maximise investments. Getting merges on mythics/duo/rearmed/emblem units with a 12% chance of pulling is so good
I would agree but I can't. Last year people went with quantity and we got Claude and Dimitri who were both duds on that banner. I would much rather have 4 units that are good on different colors than putting useless units on just for more. Plus having all on one color barely increases the amount you get so it really isn't worth it.

As much as I'd like having a lot of attuned or rearmed units on the AHR banner, I feel like the most valuable units we could vote for are the emblem units. Just having these rings adds so much value to your account compared to any other unit type. Yes attuned heroes are nice and all, but they are at least rerunning on F2P friendly sparkable banners, wheras emblems are stuck on legendary banners with 3 unit colourshares and a spark that's locked to FEH pass. Emblems may not give the most value when it comes to merges, but the best part of the AHR banner is (in my opinion) the spark that's accessible to everyone. Also I think seasonal heroes are kind of not worth it anymore for AHR. Like yeah ninja Lucina is good and all but unlike emblem, attuned and rearmed heroes, her value comes mainly from her combat, wheras these other hero types give you value without having to deploy them.
Mythic Eikthyrnir is the best character I've ever used in this game. Since he's a mythic, he'll be always on my Astra Core and is a GREAT melee carry. It's been months since the last time I actually used a different team (Plumeria, Seidr, Eikthyrnir, Gatekeerper, a savior + bonus)
Rune has a clock on him. Combat mythics never last long, the next light mythic will have his raid mechanic, his empathy support already is no longer unique, and he has caps on his true damage. He's ok now but nothing about him is unique and he definitely won't continue to be a free extra unit on your raiding party A hero rises i want to things: colourshare and longevity
It's also kind of wild to rank him so highly on something like this if you're taking into consideration that most players are not going to +10. We all got him for free, why do we need a second copy? His fodder is not THAT impressive.

I think I'll do 5 votes on A.Hector and 1 each on W.Alear, Ny.Nid. Also, H.Askr has done great work when I was using him in ARD but in SD he seriously let me down. He couldnt survive a single unit, even with Nector.

Attuned and Rearmed would be a waste. They already appear quite often on a banner that not only has a higher rate, but is all Attuned and Rearmed. It would be better to summon off of those and go for emblems. Emblem units are on a 12 way focus share and are only sparkable with the pass, plus multiple copies can be beneficial as well and their rings won't be power crept.
My top 4 are the emblem units that’s not named Ike. Sure Ike’s ring is good when it procs as it makes any tank even tankier but the versatility of the other rings are too valuable in my eyes and it allows units to use other kits and builds they probably wouldn’t use otherwise instead of doubling down on one playstyle.
I think one more thing to calculate for Mythic Nidhoggr is.... When Astra finally has the reinforcement slot. That's when she will truly shine. Causebwing a mythic herself is probably her biggest weakness. Reinforcement however means she can receive mythic buffs.
Larry (Tree Guy) being in the AHR or even the loser's bracket would be good for a lot of whales who are working to +10 him since pulling for him in B8% banners is so undesirable with the horrible shares he's ending up with.
Hoping Attuned Timerra wins at least top 4. She's not only my favorite and best Omnitank, but also a current merge project and just phenominal fodder for ANY infantry unit in general.
Yeah, these units look crazy right now but you just know they'll be mediocre once the banner is released, so I would prioritize only the rings, those are the only units which are guaranteed to retain value even 3 months from now, because literally next month they could release a crazy Atunned Edelgard and suddenly Hector lost most of his value as a unit, or a crazy nuke or a crazy new tank(both with crazy support on top) leaving everyone in this list powercrept.
I think we should be asking from the start which units people do and don't have. That's realistically going to affect who people are more likely to vote for. And this might be a little controversial, but I think we should be considering units that are older than a year old by now. I still need more copies of Rearmed Lucina because she's my cav fodder factory. Winter Cordelia has seen a rise in popularity lately, and I don't have her. I'm willing to bet a lot of people skipped her.

Brave Chrom is my favorite, whenever I need help with something difficult I tend to gravitate towards him, but he isn't exactly a unit that released this year. Aside from that, there's Emblem Sigurd too. He's always a good one.

It's always a dream but colorless and blue are the ones with the best potential for a full color banner. I would be very happy with Lucina and Leila and maybe two other being blues. I do feel both versions of Nidhoggr will be hard countered soon, plus they will need to sell new armoreds as those new save skills are still to be released. Because of that, Hector is better as he is a factory too. It's a shame he is the only good one in red. Colorless dream: Duo Lucina, Leila, H!Askr and Laerdr My personal top4 would be: Duo Lucina, Leila, Sigurd and Duo Robin or Timerra or Celica.

As a +8 Halloween Askr haver, I find that Askr needs quite a bit of support and Laguz Friend 4 in order to live the modern melee nukes. He's fun to play with and I don't regret going for him but it feels a bit bad when a +0 Felix beats his base kit 20:56 Winter Fomortiis is a red beast armor, not green btw
Credit to LoriCyberstar on r3dd.1t for the idea, but I think we should consider our AHR votes in light of how they might change the meta. I don't recall Altina changing it much, to be fair. But Corrinja and Lynja resulted in IS coming out with much tougher, annoying saviors. And Fomortiis threw the meta way out of whack, with IS releasing ridiculous nukes that were very hard to tank. I think A!Peony was the right choice last year, because 1) green dream 2) the meta shifted to bonkers mobility and I doubt she had anything to do with that, though she can move a space further than og.Peony with base kits. With this criterion, I'd say the best picks are Athos, Timerra, E!Ike, X!Micaiah, and possibly desert Ike and d!Alear. Choosing E!Celica or E!Sigurd might cause IS to halt the mobility meta, but there's a good chance that the pendulum will swing back too hard the other way, like they've done in past years.
The bottom AHR banner actually includes the 4 losers from the voting gauntlet but also the 9th-12th placers on the AHR vote itself. My ideal top 8 is: - Timerra - Att!Hector - E!Sigurd - NY!Nidhoggr - E!Lyn - J!Marisa - Duo Lucina - Laerdar With the top 4 being: - E!Lyn - Duo Lucina - Att!Hector - Timerra And on the Bottom AHR banner if I had to choose 4 more heroes to add, it would be: - W!Fomortiis - L!Ayra - J!Ike - Re!Leila
The way I see it is, don't vote for fodder. Fodder comes from multiple sources and even attuned heroes are getting rerun fairly often. The only units that are worth summoning and merging are Mythics, Legendary & Emblem. Merges on this heroes help in multiple ways and since the only get rerun with new heroes (aside from HoF banners) the are the most difficult to get units in the game. When it comes to seasonal heroes you can always spark for them when they get their annual or seasonal Duo banner.
I think this is way too complicated than it has to be. Voting is always emotional. So, vote for the one you like with the condition - it has to be a LIMITED HERO!
Homestly, W!Alear is really strong in a few cases. Their duo skill is really nice, they have great combat and match up well into a ton of things. I have them +10, so they're really fun in Arena. In AR, I've actually got 2 infantry omnitank teams (1 Timerra if I can not cleanse flash, 1 W!alear if I can). Any team I can't galeforce I usually run W!Alear into it. I really like it, because none of the units usually present in those teams (Hector, Nids, etc) can defeat or tank w!alear due to alears quad hits. Compared to A!Timerra, their brave really helps them, as well as not having to rely on their special for damage.
Seeing winter alear being that low is sad. I'd argue B tier at the very least. Quite a strong omnitank that can deal with the snakes. Also, winter fomo is strange for me, I dont feel he's good tbh i could be using him wrong or just i just dont have the right team that can work with him. For my ahr votes, Winter alear, duo fjorm, emblem marth, and halloween nagi.
I think my personal top 4 WITH also some realism in it would be Emblem Lyn, Emblem Sigurd, Ninja Duo Lucina and Attuned Hector, so basically yours but just Sigurd > Nidhöggr, cause the Emblem rings are universal to a certain degree and timeless and even merging Emblem Heroes is not the worst, cause you can carry those extra stats on whatever unit you put their rings on. Meanwhile Nidhöggr is just a busted savior, that over time will get more and more checks and counters and therefore as a simple seasonal unit will fell off. Thats also the reason why I think Mythic Nidhöggr > NY Nidhöggr, cause her pot. merge value as an offense mythic is also just way higher, despite NY can made bulkier and therefore a better save as one-off. Personally would also like to see Attuned Timerra, but I don't have to much hopes, that enough people will vote for her. Overall great video, but Brave Felix (and also Brave Bernadetta) shouldn't have been mentioned even when it comes to AHR as a topic. Normal pool heroes, especially Braves, where you already can pick a free one-off copy and have 4 sparks and that you can pull nearly every banner as a pity breaker, are basically Z-tier for AHR. Sure Felix is very strong (and even very popular), but him anywhere close to AHR top 12 (top 12, cause the "looser" banner actually had the four top 8 heroes that has lost Voting Gauntlet round 1 but also rank 9-12 from the voting, so 8 heroes in total) would be an absolute downer and would made those potential two banners SO much worse, especially potential red shares if they should come together.
Fomortis isnt green? Also... Red dream with hector, nagi, nidhoggr and ayra who says no I know it's unlikely we get a full share this time, but im a fiend for the orb savings, bring me home!
Personally, I still think BFelix is incredible. Sure he can't kill Shield Fighter armors, but does he need to? Most people are either utilizing Undefended or using Lyn/Lyn ring to blow up saves from afar. The three free actions he gets - especially when one of those can be to get rid of a trap and/or grab pots - make him essential to me in ARO. But I'd never vote for him in AHR for the simple fact that he's in the normal pool.
Both Lyn and Sigurd are most likely to make it to the top 4, the other 2 are what I really like so either Timerra or Hector go well for me with skill dup (also I want at least 1 color share) but really wanna avoid colorless focus as much as I can , don't matter if Lucina is a god-tier bcuz colorless hell is a punishment worst that Helheim

Doing all one color is a very bad idea, especially if it is colorless. I would personally prefer two green and two blue.

As a +8 Halloween Askr haver, I find that Askr needs quite a bit of support and Laguz Friend 4 in order to live the modern melee nukes. He's fun to play with and I don't regret going for him but it feels a bit bad when a +0 Felix beats his base kit

Credit to LoriCyberstar on r3dd.1t for the idea, but I think we should consider our AHR votes in light of how they might change the meta. I don't recall Altina changing it much, to be fair. But Corrinja and Lynja resulted in IS coming out with much tougher, annoying saviors. And Fomortiis threw the meta way out of whack, with IS releasing ridiculous nukes that were very hard to tank.
I think A!Peony was the right choice last year, because 1) green dream 2) the meta shifted to bonkers mobility and I doubt she had anything to do with that, though she can move a space further than og.Peony with base kits.
With this criterion, I'd say the best picks are Athos, Timerra, E!Ike, X!Micaiah, and possibly desert Ike and d!Alear. Choosing E!Celica or E!Sigurd might cause IS to halt the mobility meta, but there's a good chance that the pendulum will swing back too hard the other way, like they've done in past years.

The way I see it is, don't vote for fodder. Fodder comes from multiple sources and even attuned heroes are getting rerun fairly often.
The only units that are worth summoning and merging are Mythics, Legendary & Emblem. Merges on this heroes help in multiple ways and since the only get rerun with new heroes (aside from HoF banners) the are the most difficult to get units in the game.
When it comes to seasonal heroes you can always spark for them when they get their annual or seasonal Duo banner.

Homestly, W!Alear is really strong in a few cases. Their duo skill is really nice, they have great combat and match up well into a ton of things.
I have them +10, so they're really fun in Arena. In AR, I've actually got 2 infantry omnitank teams (1 Timerra if I can not cleanse flash, 1 W!alear if I can). Any team I can't galeforce I usually run W!Alear into it. I really like it, because none of the units usually present in those teams (Hector, Nids, etc) can defeat or tank w!alear due to alears quad hits. Compared to A!Timerra, their brave really helps them, as well as not having to rely on their special for damage.

Seeing winter alear being that low is sad. I'd argue B tier at the very least. Quite a strong omnitank that can deal with the snakes. Also, winter fomo is strange for me, I dont feel he's good tbh i could be using him wrong or just i just dont have the right team that can work with him. For my ahr votes, Winter alear, duo fjorm, emblem marth, and halloween nagi.
I think my personal top 4 WITH also some realism in it would be Emblem Lyn, Emblem Sigurd, Ninja Duo Lucina and Attuned Hector, so basically yours but just Sigurd > Nidhöggr, cause the Emblem rings are universal to a certain degree and timeless and even merging Emblem Heroes is not the worst, cause you can carry those extra stats on whatever unit you put their rings on. Meanwhile Nidhöggr is just a busted savior, that over time will get more and more checks and counters and therefore as a simple seasonal unit will fell off. Thats also the reason why I think Mythic Nidhöggr > NY Nidhöggr, cause her pot. merge value as an offense mythic is also just way higher, despite NY can made bulkier and therefore a better save as one-off.
Personally would also like to see Attuned Timerra, but I don't have to much hopes, that enough people will vote for her.
Overall great video, but Brave Felix (and also Brave Bernadetta) shouldn't have been mentioned even when it comes to AHR as a topic. Normal pool heroes, especially Braves, where you already can pick a free one-off copy and have 4 sparks and that you can pull nearly every banner as a pity breaker, are basically Z-tier for AHR.
Sure Felix is very strong (and even very popular), but him anywhere close to AHR top 12 (top 12, cause the "looser" banner actually had the four top 8 heroes that has lost Voting Gauntlet round 1 but also rank 9-12 from the voting, so 8 heroes in total) would be an absolute downer and would made those potential two banners SO much worse, especially potential red shares if they should come together.

Personally, I still think BFelix is incredible. Sure he can't kill Shield Fighter armors, but does he need to? Most people are either utilizing Undefended or using Lyn/Lyn ring to blow up saves from afar. The three free actions he gets - especially when one of those can be to get rid of a trap and/or grab pots - make him essential to me in ARO. But I'd never vote for him in AHR for the simple fact that he's in the normal pool.
